The clerk who serviced us when we returned the vehicle had a terrible attitude and was very rude. She did not understand that she was looking at a different contract and was overcharging us. Once she finally understood that, instead of apologizing, she was even more upset. Horrible customer service!

The truck I rented did not have a gas cap and I did not realize it until I put gas in it many many miles later. Not realizing just how serious this could be, I proceeded to fill it and drive on my merry way only to be waved down by two different frantic drivers who warned me that the truck was spewing gas all over the place! I didn’t know that as Gas heats up, it expands thus it came out the side of the truck! So I let the truck cool down then I gingerly drove it to the nearest auto part store where I thankfully found a man who somehow found the right gas cap size by the license plate. The representative was not friendly and did not satisfy my concern regarding overpaying on gas. I put in 13 and a half gallons to go 101 miles. It should have been about 8 gallons.

I paid for and was confirmed to rent a utility trailer from Berkeley and at the last minute U-haul notified me that I would have to pick it up in Richmond instead. If I had known I had to get it in Richmond I would have rented something else, because the only reason I rented the utility trailer is because it was the only thing I could get from the Berkeley location. I would rather have rented a regular trailer. Highly inconvenient that U-haul changed the rules of the game at the last minute.

I had called a couple of days before my pickup my pickup was supposed to be at 9 Saturday morning on June 2nd 2018 and they scheduled me for 3 p.m. and that is not what I asked for then when I came in to get the truck at 3 p.m. the two young ladies that was working there was sleeping all on the counter with no good customer service I will use this service if it's the last one that I have to use thank you

Had some dog fur on the seat, outside was not washed, but vehicle is new, makes up for its flaws... first time using the mobile process.. checkout was okay... taking photos slows things down but good way to document any damage... the return process a little crowded on the parking lot, but eventuslly got into a spot and completed return using mobile app.

Customer service was bad. Key was there called 10 times to get key code no one pick up the phone , total hold time 1.5 hrs no one responded then I hung up. I waist 1.5 hrs with 2 working guys I was paying them for not doing any moving. I couldn’t finish moving today left 40% moving stuff There because lady told me I need to bring truck back 5:30 which I did. I will not go there again because poor customer service. Need to change better staff.

The young woman at the counter was rude and almost frightening, There were two young women at the counter. The one to the left as you enter the door is the person whose attitude was so rude, so aggressive I felt defensive and a need to protect myself. The other young woman to the right had a very pleasant attitude and when the woman walked away from her station when I approached she seemed somewhat embarrassed. The second time she walked away mid transaction with a long line waiting the pleasant young woman took time to go find her. To add insult to injury after we turned in our keys, we got a call from a man the next morning from u-haul saying they couldn't find the keys. He insisted that they could not find the keys. When I informed him that we had taken pictures of my husband returning the keys in the slot provided we did not hear from him again. I am getting the impression that U-haul may have a problem with my name and my religion. When I made the reservation sight unseen over the phone I made the reservation under my full name. I also made the reservation for all day. Before I arrived I called to confirm the reservation. I was told that the reservation was from 12-4 pm and the reservation had been made in my maiden name as opposed to my full name. My credit card is in my full name which is Earlene Coleman-ALI.
