Havingb to rely on text messages to rent the vehicle is unacceptable. I could not open any of the links texted to me. It took 30 minutes to rent the truckand I was the only person there. The entire process is a joke. Noi way to inspect the vehicle. The contract print was so small it was not readable.john C.
The previous customer left 3 water bottles & some garbage in the door pockets. Seemed like someone smoked in the cab. Reasonably clean but could have been cleaner! I wiped down the interior (steering wheel, dashboard, etc). Truck & dollies were ready to go for pick up. Market customers were taken ahead of Uhaul customer; understandable but had to wait a while to get the paperwork done to get started. Only 1 person working. Overall, a good experience & happy to support a small business.HOLLY P.
Rainbow market is the worst pick up location I've ever been too. They have ZERO customer service. Took way too long. The store is filthy. When returning they asked for an additional $10 cash to fill the tank, which I filled to the amount needed. The truck smelled like cigarettes/BO, had a check engine light, and there was an issue with the oil pressure kept going up and down. I've had several other uhaul experiences that were way better than this. Please revoke the Rainbow Markets licence for uhauls. I love the brand and this place is DESTROYING IT!Adam J.
The truck was not clean, fueled, or properly equipped with blankets or a hand truck. The rental agreement was in French only and we were unable to do the truck check in when returning as our location could not be found through the U-Haul app. All in all a very unpleasant rental experience.Nick V.

I went there on time and asked about the cargo van I booked, but it's not ready because the previous user didn't return it yet. I understand that but the owner didn't try to solve this at all. He seemed to care about the customers who visits his store first. I had to call to Uhaul by myself because he didn't care about me. Anyways, the other problem is he lied about the fuel. It was indicating the middle between 1/4 and 3/8 but even I filled gas he told me it's not enough and pay more. I can send the picture. Also the mileage that I used is 27km. I can see it says 28km. I returned the truck 5:51pm. Don't lie that I return the truck at 8:31am today. It was an unhappy moment because of unfriendly and uncommunicative owner of the location.Moonhyun C.

The Cargo Van and Furniture dollies where in good condition. However the location was run down, with items all over the place, Mattress covers still in shipping box and owner asks customers to dig around and find a cover that fits. because this location is a corner store, the owner cannot leave the front desk for security reasons. There was Mice running around and no clear signage of where to go in the store for Uhaul services. The Owner also has a sign that he wrote that explains that he will help paying convenience store customers first over uhaul customers. which i understand why because of the security risk of people walking out if they are not serviced fast enough. I feel Uhaul should not be using this location. i understand this location was contracted out but it makes Uhaul look extremely unprofessional compared to its real Uhaul store fronts.suk C.

the agent rude and very unprofessional, I show him the gas receipt for $5.00 of gas I put in and he wanted another $5 dollar from me. I ask him how gas it takes to go 6 km. He did not answer me, but it does not take 10 or 5 dollars to go 6 Km.I ask for a receipt for the 5 dollars he said it would in my email and walk away.Richard L.
The service at this location was absolutely HORRID. It's well worth it to go to a far away location rather come to this one. The man who was working behind the counter was extremely rude, didn't know how to communicate, and clearly didn't know what he was doing. I've rented many uhaul trucks/vans over the years, so I know the process and how it should go. This guy did everything differently, and over charged my card before we even left the location. He was not prepared to check us in at our pick up time, and every single customer that came in after us to buy something, he rudely waved us out of the way to help them instead. Because of this, we were HALF AN HOUR late leaving the location. This caused a huge hassle for the rest of our day as we were behind schedule. The van itself was filthy, and obviously not cleaned in the driver's area between clients. With COVID, that is extremely unacceptable. The inside where we sat should have been sanitized. The back of the van was also filthy and had toenail clippings all over the floor! How does that even happen?! It was disgusting. The check in process was the worst I've ever had to go through, he refused to take my partner's credit card and driver's license, even though HE was the one driving and paying for it, and was also the name I made the reservation under. He wouldn't give it to us unless he had MY license and credit card, for whatever reason. I was worried I wouldn't have enough room on my card for the purchase but he wouldn't take anything else, which makes no sense at all. He asked us to estimate how many km we were travelling so we told him our destination and he put down way more km then it actually was. Again, my card was charged before we even left the building. I've ALWAYS been charged after we drop the vehicle off. When my partner went to return the van, the man told him we needed to fill the gas tank completely. Luckily my partner had a picture of the front dash where it showed how much gas we started with, (just over half a tank), because the man had asked us to take a picture of it before we left to keep track of the mileage. My partner walked out on him in frustration after being shooed aside yet again for another customer that came in after. Then this morning I find another charge on my card from uhaul for 30 more dollars! For gas? I don't think so. I will be contacting the uhaul head office to put in a formal complaint about this location.baylee H.
This was possibly the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a seemingly reputable company. Having the proprietor of the Rainbow Market represent Uhaul is likely damaging the reputation of the company. I don't even know where to start with how bad the experience was. The location was convenient as far as where I needed a truck However when I arrived the truck was nowhere to be seen. I tried to check in at the counter and they seemed not to be aware of my rental. It is a small corner store and quite buzy and they had a continual line up of customers and I had a hard time getting any info from them. Finally the female clerk called a man who made a phone call and told me the truck would be there in ten minutes. I had to be somewhere within the hour and was about to call u haul to try to find alternate equipment when the truck showed up. the previous renter took out his dolly and it looked like the man from the store checked themileage etc and then he began the process of checking me in. I did not see any cleaning done of the interior of the truck which in these days of covid I would think at least surfaces should have been at least wiped with lysol wipes or something. The store operator took forever to check me in some of which he could have done while I was waiting for the truck but he refused to do anything until the truck arrived. Then when he asked for a credit card I produced the Visa card which I had used to secure the rental. He said no he wanted a credit card and this was not a credit card. I told him it was certainly a credit card but he kept saying it wasn't and kept asking for a credit card. Finally I produced a mastercard which he accepted. The vehicle itself was fine although not properly cleaned. I was happy to be able to get the vehicle on fairly short notice for moving day but i would not recommend this location.Sandra D.
