Grado:

The guy behind the counter wanted me to drop the vehicle off and he would check it later then send me my receipt. I told him that was unacceptable. I ended up having to go back around the building and bring the vehicle back around front for him to inspect so I could get my receipt. I will never go back there.

I arrived at the location and had to speak by phone to someone who could rent me the truck. I was handed the keys with no paperwork at all. When returning the truck after dark I was told it had to be parked behind the building in an unlit area and then walk around the outside of the building to turn in the keys. The equipment was fine, but I will never, ever rent from this location again.

There was only 1 employee helping 3-4 uhaul customers and gas station customers. He was super helpful but my pickup time took 30-40 minutes and I wasted almost an hour of my rental time. Online when I made my reservation, I tried to add a dolly. It would not add it for me... I didn’t get charged for one but I also didn’t get one and I really needed it. So that put a damper on my already late start. I also tried to take off the safe trip insurance during my check in and I still got charged for it at drop off.

UHAUL HAS INCORRECTLY CHARGED ME FOR MILES I PAID FOR WITH MY PURCHASE! AND HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MY EMAILS! IN ADDITION, THE UHAUL REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT MARK MY TRUCK AS RETURNED AND THEREFORE I HAD REPRESENTATIVES CALLING MY PHONE TRYING TO FIND IT!!! I AM HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN UHAUL!

We chose the mobile check in and it was a disaster. The man interrupted our check in, he did not have the dollies or blankets on the order, even though I had the printout with me. The mobile process is a joke.

THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. To begin with I called and stated I was moving out of town and needed a truck that I could return in New Albany, I did the express check in only to get to the location, for the worker to hand me a phone and have me speak to some random man, the cashier instructed me that he didn’t know what to do; didn’t check my ID, didn’t give me any paperwork for insurance or proof of purchase... I had to wait 30 mins while waiting for him to update my rental. FINALLY I got my keys and was told the Truck was around back. I was handed the keys was told to walk around back, after my hike through grass to get behind the building I had to locate the Truck myself. After finding it I get in to be greeted by the smell of thick smoke and an empty gas tank. Which was not a problem seeing as I was at a gas station. I was not given a contract, did not have a walk around done, just given the keys and expected to go on my way. My troubles didn’t end there! After getting to new Albany and wanting to return my truck it came to my attention that I was not assigned a drop off location! So I spent ANOTHER 30 mins on the phone waiting for a drop off location. I returned the truck with 50+ more miles in the tank than what it had when I got it. I was told at drop off that it was supposed to have a 3rd of a tank! I am Beyond dissatisfied with my service I have received. I want to be contacted back on this matter as I am thoroughly disappointed. I was supposed to rent another truck to move the rest of my stuff out later in the week and due to this experience I am unsure if I want to continue with those plans now.

Made reservation 1 week in advance. Truck, dolly, pads. At Time of pick up they inform me they have no dollies. U haul customer service was as helpful as a bag of rocks. Truck was run down and dirty. HOW DO YOU MOVE HEAVY ITEMS WITH OUT A DOLLY U-HAUL. Never AGAIN U-Haul .

We ask for the 15ft truck and he mention time at 4:30pm but they don’t have it and he says 20ft but extra 10 dollar I will never back

The 15' truck I received had 107,000 miles on it. The transmission, steering, suspension, were shot. It was EXTREMELY loud inside the cabin. The left front tire exploded on the freeway and could have seriously could have killed me. This truck is a death machine and should be taken out of service.
