I HAVE BEEN RENTING UHAULS SOMETIMES MORE THEN 2 TRUCKS A MONTH FOR THE LAST FIVE YEARS . THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIANCE I HAVE HAD AT ANY RENTAL PLACE. COST ME MONEY TO DO A JOB AND ALMOST LOST A CUSTOMER.. YOU CAN LISTEN TO THE RECORDINGS OF MYSELF AND YOUR TERRIBLY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. I CANT EXPLAIN THE DETAILS AGAIN.. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS AFTER BEING SUCH A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR OVER FIVE YEARS IF I DID BUSINESS AND TREATED MY CUSTOMERS THE WAY U HAUL TREATED ME, I WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS. SCOTT HANSEN

UHaul an afterthought at this Ace Hardware. We were not allowed to check the truck with the check in guy, Sam Graff. He claimed there where a couple of chair glides left in the truck so would charge us $25. We had swept the truck so maybe he threw them in himself. Said once we returned the key truck was 'his' and no questions allowed. Couldn't care less there was $30 more gas than when we picked up. Credited unopened bags against 'clean up charge'. Very inconvenient and rude branch, won't use it again. Looking into local Enterprise and Penske.

We reserved the order online to pick the truck up at 6 pm and the instructions weren't immediately clear, so we went inside ace hardware where they told me that uhual closed at 5 and we were unable to pick up the rental... After a few minutes I was able to figure it out On my own that there is a box outside and you need to turn your location on so they can verify you are picking up at the correct location and time which was pretty cool. But then Got a call around 11 am wondering where the keys were, this started me because we put them in the box just like the instructions told me too, he said he would call us back but never did so I'm assuming they figured it out. otherwise it was perfect and the truck was pretty much brand new and super clean. We took care to be sure we left it in the same condition. Though more expensive than anticipated due to my own error on the mileage we were driving, I appreciate uhual and the services and convenience they offer. I will use them again 100%

I wasn't offered the possibility of renting dollys ... straps .... or pads . They didn't seem to understand the needs and requirements of someone renting a u haul for moving . It was very stressful . I wanted to be put at ease ....and more questions and information provided to me .

Ive been using uhaul for yrs, the location is cypress ave rdg ca, i reserved a truck a week. Before. With my visa, i went to pick it up on 7/16/17 at 11:30am, tbe gentleman who served me was Gabriel. He was rude and alls he had to say to me was "it got rented out" no apology, sorry, or any explanation as to why it would happen that my truck got rented out. So he did find me one up on your location up on Eureka Way in Redding California was the gentleman there his name was I can't remember what his name was right now but he kind of went out of his way to accommodate me. So my complaint by the time I left the cypress store was I was walking out excepting that while they just sold my truck and I've been giving you all my business for several years and I didn't even get an exclamation or I'm sorry sir or nothing. So I went back and asked for the managers Number can you give me a card I don't have it with me John something. I called and awls I got was somebody who didn't even know who John was but he displays that card on the counter at the Cypress Avenue store. I was treated very badly and I want some kind of compensation and definitely this Gabriel at the Cypress store to definitely be talk to you about how you treat a customer and you don't treat them like shit especially all the business I've given him on that day doesn't matter which store but that's the one I love mine that's the one I use all the time. I hope that you get back to me via email or call me my number is 530-768-3373 I'm taking it that someone is going to do something about this if any thing Gabriel gets talk to you before he does treat another of your customers the way he treated me so I'm gonna wait to hear back from you otherwise I just wasted my time and I will just go above your head let them know you did absolutely nothing for me also

The fuel line from where you put the gas in to the fuel tank was split. When putting gas in the truck, all the gas went to the cement below. Are hoses checked before each rental?

It was not the best of experiances.first the employee josh (i think)had some how rented 2 trucks but he did correct it.the truck was fine no issues but when my husband returned the keys for the charges to be complete they used the wrong card.i had given a direct express card to pay which was excepted but the cashier said they needed a secondary for security purposes because they need a credit card/bank card for insurance purposes like a rental car and he said THE CHARGES WONT BE POSTED TO THIS CARD! Its just for security purposes i said ok thats fine!theres bill money on there.He said the charges wont apply til we bring the rental and keys back he said yes.The green card will only be charged?he said yes i said ok because theres enough and more on this card.So my husband brings it back after our use of it and they ran the wrong card(the bank of america) that wasnt supposed to be ran at all only used for security purposes and not on the card that was ran for the rental purchases(direct express )i call very upset and im told they maxed out our account which over drawn my account and i was told well the system must have screwed up SERIOUSLY.and then he said well idnt know what other card your talking about i told him which one and he said idk unless you show me i know its in the computer be ause he swiped it first as it was the card on file to be charged.and again said idk the system screwed up i cant do anything if idk what card your talking about and im pissed because my bills have to be paid and ive got a over charges etc.now we have an invoice saying we owe a remainder we have to pay in 10 days .how when my card was maxed out and the SYTEM SCREWED UP..ILL NEVER TRUST UHAUL WITH ANYTHING

The truck was caked with dry mud on the wheels & muddy water spray on the cab. The truck had just over 1/4 tank of fuel. I may be mistaken I thought the truck was supposed to be full of fuel. Other than these items the truck was useful with my move.
