The whole experience was a nightmare. The reservations and the booking and horrible. It took me almost an hour to get the truck. If I didn't have my phone it would've been impossible to rent the truck which is ridiculous. I was also over charged for the rental as while. So I will be calling to find out why I was charged so much. Things need to go back to the way it was. That kiosk rental is stupid smh.
The only reason my experience was amazing! And I have you good starts was because of the lady working I would have not had a rental truck if she did not go out of her way to help. The app for U-Haul sucks and makes it impossible to rent a truck! The real MVP was the worker who had nothing to do with my reservation. Thank you
The phone service was awesome and easy to use. Loved that i could pick up at any time.
Again having people in the office that do not handle check-ins. I waited about 20 mins because she was with someone else. She finally got to me and it was clear she wasn't aware of what to do. She took my info and said she would call. She didn't. I made her confirm the mileage, cleanliness of the truck, and no damages before I left. I had to call to get my deposit back. Even 3 days later the info wasn't entered into the system.
Manager of this location did not know how to issue a one way rental. This resulted in not providing enough mileage to complete my move. This in turn caused an overage on mileage and a charge which I disputed but got no response.
Truck was not clean, had plastic wrap and raid cans in back of truck due to all the bugs that were dead, very visible and bad smell, would have looked to change trucks but it was a debacle getting this one and place was closed. I ordered blankets and a dolly, nothing was in truck and as mentioned place was closed, could do nothing to address...also was billed for these items, will be calling to discuss credit. I was also not notified in advance of my pick-up location changing, wasted 3.5 hours working through this, thus the debacle I mentioned previously, customer service mentioned I received an e-mail and text in the morning, absolutely not the case. Overall experience was very very frustrating, much time wasted and was over charged.
This location was closed when dropped off the truck
So disappointed , made reservation on line to cut time but then they didn't find it so had to do it while I was there all over, then the equipment to carring my stuff that I requested was not in the truck but then they charge me for it, I'm hoping I get that money back because I already disputed it.
Over an hour wait, they couldn't find my reservation had to call costumer service and still another half hour wait. T
The cab had chips all over the floor , other than that it was pretty clean. Also there should be better lighting. Otherwise it was a pretty good experience.
Systems didn't work. It took an hour to get my truck and there is never anyone that cares or willing to help. Lady had to call her DM to get us the truck. It wasn't the people's fault it's uhaul a systems, they are not friendly to your customers and ultimately make everything much harder than it needs to be.
Employee was unable to log into the system to check me in then gave me here phone to do the process when I felt that it should have been her responsibility. After calling UHaul to check in they were not able to help me and she had to call her regional manager? This process took about an hour to complete.
Computer system was very slow. Had to wait too long to get my paperwork. Could definitely use some streamlining to get customers out the door faster.
