I had a good experience with the location itself; however I did not have a good experience with the truck. My issue with the truck is that is was stalling to change gear. as I accelerated it was struggling and kept hearing a high pitch noise, then it would jolt and change gear. The location I took it back to said it could be the transmission, but honestly felt the truck would stall or blow up based on what I heard.

The inside of the truck was filthy when I picked it up, there was no gas in the truck (below E with the gas light on) I am surprised I made it to the gas station safely. I was also not provided with a lock, which was not explained to me properly when I picked up the truck.

Convenient location. Made reservation 2 days prior. Explained I was moving a washer &a dryer and employee recommend a truck with dolly. When we arrived NO dolly with straps available!! Very disappointing...

The one rear light on the tow dolley didn't work and fell out traveling on the freeway to pick up the car. I guess the tape on the wire and light didn't keep it together. Besides this, this was a life saver to be able to rent this on a Sunday to be able to get my Daughters car home with the least expense. Thanks again.

Well, I got installed hitch but the guys who installed forgot the receiver and I picked the trailer from authorized uHaul dealer. They couldn't give me receiver so I contact with uHaul, the representative said I need to get the receiver where I purchased. I directed 2 times different directions. Finally I got it. Trailer felt so SAFE, hitch system as well. Overall I'm fine. Thank you

Have your employees at this location to instruct or advise their customers how to use your towing equipment. We were moving my father from Reno to .CA and we needed to tow his car..we'll they forgot to advise us to change the gear to "M" when going downhill and change to 2..so without this info the truck was shaking violently and we thought the brakes went out or the axle was breaking. In all actuality they were overheating! This was a safety issue and could've been with very different results. Also they did not instruct my husband how to hook up the car on the tow ramp but he is good in that perspective and figured it out. But a little instruction would've been nice as well. I'm sure there are customers who are not mechanically inclined and would've had a much harder time. Then when we called to get roadside assistance they couldn't find anyone to help us. We would've have to wait 3-4 hrs. We ended up wasting 2 hr's anyway. So they sent us to an A &L tire shop where after checking the brakes that they were fine and they couldn't help us. They sent us to the Uhaul at the edge of Bishop and to speak with a man named Mike. We did this after sad to g 2 hrs of daylight and he solved our problems in 5 minutes after explaining what we needed to do when going downhill. You need to educate your staff because as i said before this could've been very different results. Instead of aggravation and a waste our time it could've caused us injury or even death as we were in the mountains with intermittent cell service. Some changes need to be made with your staff and how they assist your customers. Otherwise this mightve been splashed all over the news when your uhaul truck went careening down the side of the mountain due to overheated rotors and brakes thru no fault of our own!

The sales representative quoted me a price when I first got there. I asked how much would it be if I go to LA area, he told me a specific price. When I returned the truck, he charged me 3 times the amount he quoted me. I felt like it was false advertisement. I will be disputing the matter. When I told the representative what he quoted me and other people heard him tell me this quote. He denied it! I'm disappointed !
