we brought the truck back with more gas in it than when we picked it up, then we we're charged for gas?
I had a reservation that was unable to be honored. I was notified only a half an hour before the scheduled time. I was then directed to contact U-Haul and hopefully another truck would be available. After being on hold for 20 minutes, a representative secured me a truck that was several miles from me. I immediately left to retrieve the vehicle and I received a phone call saying that there wouldn't be anyone at the location for another hour and a half. I received that phone call just as I got there. Although I appreciate the $50 for the cancellation of my first reservation, I asked about an additional $50 for the second reservation and was denied. It's unfortunate because of the stress and inconvenience from the situation, but I also incurred more debt as I paid two individuals an additional $30 each for their time waiting. I understand there are things out of people's control and when a vehicle isn't brought back in time, such as in my case, then hopefully there would be additional trucks available. Interestingly, when I contacted U haul after the reservation wasn't being honored, the representative asked me if I had a reservation. I told her, yes, and said I made it online. She admonished me to speak with a representative when making a reservation in the future. This is particularly odd and if this is true, then I'm not sure why one can make online reservations in the first place. Also, I didn't appreciate her implication that I bore some responsibility in my reservation being lost. I would like a $60 refund for the additional monies spent for the two individuals I paid to help me move.
This facility is on a busy highway with one small entrance in and the same entrance out. This requires backing in to drop off the trailer which wasn't easy as for someone who doesn't back up trailers often. The owner was pleasant and helpful and the trailer was in good shape. I just dreaded having to return the trailer and backing it in

I had 2 separate charges made to my account, one for $$60.07, the next day another for $30. I estimated my miles to be 40 around trip and it was less than that, I feel very strongly that I was OVER CHARGED

U-Haul Corporation is extremely unorganized and incompetent. I reserved a trailer for the nearest location near my home and the reservation was confirmed. The day before I was scheduled to pick up the trainer (8/29), U-Haul called and said there was a shortage of trailers and the next nearest location would be 30-40 minutes away from my home. After being extremely frustrated from the inconvenience it caused me, I decided to pick up the trailer at the new provided location. On the day of the scheduled pick-up (8/30), I received another phone call informing me that the pick up location has once again changed to an even further location from my home. I spoke to a U-Haul customer service representative who said there was a shortage of trailers and I would not be able to pick up my reserved trailer until the next day of my original scheduled reservation date. I had to take matters into my own hands and contact the U-Haul pick up location myself to see when the U-Haul trailer was available for pick up. He informed me that the trailer was supposed to be dropped off at 12pm on the day after my original reserved pick up date but my pick up time would be 12:30pm which he mentioned was â€œcutting it closeâ€. Luckily for me, the trailer was returned earlier than scheduled and I was able to pick up the trailer my schedule reservation date. It is hard to believe that U-Haul, a multi-billion dollar corporation, has a shortage of trailers in San Diego, one of California's biggest cities. Overall, I would not recommend anybody to use U-Haul.
Our rental was One Way... to be dropped off in Oceanside. Doug advised my husband that if it wasn't returned to him, the charge would be double as he needed the truck the next day! Therefore, we incurred additional charges for mileage and gas. U-Haul advised that this was not proper information and would take care of the situation. We didn't have to return it, however, we did to ensure we were not charge double the rate. We should be reimbursed for the extra mileage and have the gas it took to fill it just to a quarter tank.
I will NEVER use this location again. In fact whenever I need to use a vehicle like this I will more than likely NEVER use UHaul again.
This pickup location has bad parking and over crowded
I did not have a matching phone # to the address. U-haul had to look for my reservation and find the correct address. When confirming reservation, give address.
Extremely customer service oriented. We have used 3 times in 2 months and is excellent.
Called the Uhaul 1800 number and set my reservation up for a 12'ft truck, and was given the wrong location for pick up by the dispatcher. Doug at convoy motors got me set up. Thanks Doug..

The location where I picked up was great .. but u-Haul canceled my original reservation and send me to Ramona which delay my move-in time that I had scheduled customer service could not tell me why my reservation was canceled .. ??????
