Have a phone number where you can get in touch with the U-Haul service agent. During off hours or between weekends and weekdays. Especially, when you have locked a wallet or a phone in the truck after returning the key. These are very important items that could cause much trouble if unable to connect with the agent. This is what happened to me the agent did not check his phone on his days off which I understand but excellent service would find a way to make sure this is a possibility.

Duane SI made a reservation two months ahead for pickup at a facility three blocks from my La Veta home. I was notified three days before pickup that the car hauler I needed would have to be picked up 72 miles away in Pueblo. So, although I made an early reservation a trailer wasn't made available nearby at the La Veta facility or the Walsenburg facility.
