I was overcharged!!
For the website/24 hour service, not the location. Final approval from the website while on location took well over half an hour. When I attempted to use the chat feature or call the 800 number I received no response during the 20 minutes I was waiting for the website to send me the code. That is abysmal customer service. My family has always rented from until when we needed a larger truck and we never have experienced customer service that was so utterly inept. I'm also not sure why I needed to upload a picture of my license when I already entered that information when making the reservation.
This basically is an unmanned location for dropping equipment off - however I have not rented anything as a pickup from there so they may be present when someone is picking up equipment. Hours were posted 10-4 on Tuesday but I dropped the car transport off at 8:36 am and came back at 2 to get the charges on it stopped (have photos date-time stamped to back up) - never saw anybody - building locked up. Would like my bill adjusted to reflect how long I actually had the equipment - 1 day instead of 2 on the transport.
When I returned the trailer to this location the manager listened to the problems I had with the rental and provided me with information and contacts for escalating my complaints to Uhaul management.

I had a U Haul rented for over 2 weeks at a location on South Westwood Blvd in Poplar Bluff, MO....very close to the location in which I was moving my Mother-in-Law from a Duplex to Assisted Living. Night before the Move a message was left on my answering machine changing the U Haul location more than 7 miles north of the previous location. I estimated 25 miles original location and had to re-estimate 40 mile from the location to which I was switched and I was paying by the mile which added an additional $15 to the bill. Had 12 blankets ordered and only used one package of 6..tried to return the other 6 (still in their original sealed bag after the Move and was told NO..after they go on the bill they cannot be returned so this cost me an additional $5 refund in which I felt I was entitled. Bill I received Saturday with the estimated 40 miles which was applied to the bill at $.99 a mile and I only used 31 miles...so instead of the Final charge going down $9 my credit card was billed today for $107 and change which was an increase of $6 vs. a decrease of $9. I returned the truck with more fuel and swept out (Location did offer to sweep out truck when I arrived but my original location time was 9:00am and this changed location did not open until 10:00am and I was in a hurry.) I got the move completed but my U Haul experience was not what I expected. The Truck however did run fine.
no one at shop would not come in and check my rental back in. was just told to drop it off and he would check it in. days later got email saying it was not returned, man worries more about his fireworks business than the haul. thin he used the haul and left it under my name. shady.
Our drop off location was excellent. The rep was friendly and helpful and very apologetic for the crap we went through then being charged an additional day and mileage because of some issue in our reservation.
The guys where nice and informed us of everything we needed to know.
Brittrow was very courteous and helpful. They had good clean equipment and we had no issues with the truck. It made our moving exp that much better.

This rep. at this location stated he had to use truck in a.m. truck was full of mud and was not prior swept out. Was prior informed was a 17' truck but was given a 15' truck at location. Also was not contacted one day prior to be given drop off location. Dropped off at storage location where offloaded truck since they are a uhaul rental location. Aside from this drive went well. Thank you so much for all your services.
Did not charge card on file. Contacted them prior to picking up truck and verified they would charge card on file. but they didn't.
The registration process was painfully slow.
They must be new. It took almost 2 hours to rent the truck. The older woman was extremely nice but just had more going on that she could handle. I reserved thru Conway but asked tp pick-up at this location. Eventually I got the deal that I was offered but it took way too long.
The customer service person, although a seemingly nice person, had a lot of trouble checking me in so I could go and start my move. It took about 2 hours for her to complete all requirements for Uhaul via the website. It seems pointless for the customer to put all the info in on the website, and then have to do it all over again at pickup. There were fees i wasn't told about when I booked the reservation. She had to call for help multiple times so she could find out how to proceed page to page. I had to send my wife out for coffee, as was taking so long.
This new location is very convenient. Tom was very helpful in getting us hooked up and his assistance made our piano move much easier than I anticipated.
