Jacqueline ReddenThere wasn’t a drop box at the location like the instructions stated online. I had to go into the gas station and ask the cashier. He was a little confused, but figured out how to help me. This wasn’t the easiest drop off, but it got the job done.
Elise VegaLike others have said you pick up your truck by one of the clerks calling someone on the phone. You get no paperwork at pickup or drop off. They don't even know there is a reservation when you walk in. Can't tell you if one of the trucks is actually for you. I did not get the blankets or dolly I reserved and they said they could not tell me how to get refund. Clearly the owner is not willing to put some kind of PC Terminal there so the onsite staff could do more than hand you the truck key. They did not know which truck was for me, I had to look at the two trucks and find/match The truck number. The two people who helped me at pickup and drop off were nice enough, when the weren't ringing up customers.
Eric ZasadilWhen we arrived the clerk had no idea that we had reserved a truck. She had to call the owner and there were only 3 of us there and he wanted to have 4 identifications from individuals. Then after about 45 minutes after arriving she gave us the keys and told us to go find the truck the keys fit and that was our truck. She did not have us sign any paperwork or pay for anything there. Once we found the truck it had less than a quarter of a tank. I took a picture of it. I am used to renting from Penske or Ryder which ask that you just return the truck on a specific day. Not having any paperwork I thought this was the case with Uhaul. The next morning I get a call from Uhaul asking where their truck is and that they have a customer waiting for the truck I have. I told them that I thought I had that day. They said only till 10am (which was less than 24 hours). Not having any paperwork or clear communication there was no way of me knowing what specific time of day this truck would have to be returned. My suggestion of what you can do for the next customer????? Get out of the Uhaul business and stick to selling candy and gas. GO PENSKE!
