The lot where we dropped the trailer off was small and full of vehicles and other items which made parking the trailer difficult but the man in charge was very pleasant and helpful.

It's a gas station and the owner was busy with other things... My biggest complaint is that when I received the truck, it indicated that it was 3/4 full...which it wasn't, it was a bit less, but this caused me to have to put $12-15 dollars when I returned it

First, I called about 2 weeks ago and informed the employee I spoke to that my movers were coming later than originally planned, so could I move up my 8:30am pick up. The person I spoke to told me I could pick it up whenever and drop it off whenever because I had the truck for the whole day (flat fee). When I arrived around 11:00am the day of my move, they almost didn’t let me take it because I was “late”, and they had someone else renting it for 2:00pm, even though I was told before to come whenever and had it for the whole day! Whatever. Had the truck back by 1:40pm, and the guy (who I think owns the place) was so blatantly rude to me. I dropped the truck off on full but not full enough to his liking and was openly hostile to me. He put probably $2 worth of gas in the car on my card and handed me back the card without saying one word before he stormed off.He probably shouldn’t be treating customers like that. Will not recommend EVER for any type of business.

He had an attitude from the minute we got there told us to fold the blankets or we would pay his guy to do it. Tried to get another 60 from us even with a prepaid contract that was good till 5 it was only 11. Tried to get in my fa ohs camd after md when I know why his reviews are bad. I called 2x on Saturday and nobody has done anything. I want s full refund or I will contact attorney general and BBB he should not be allowed to work with customers

OK...the rental transaction happened, fine when picking up the ruck. BUT I was assured by this rental location after receiving an email a few days earlier, that I would receive a discount of of the quoted price fior 1) my original pick up location couldn't be used but would have to use another location, the results of which forced me to iincur driving in heavty traffic a delay of 3 hrs roundtriip. Furthermore 2) because I was asked at this location if i could drop off the truck at another location farther away from my home than what I wished to use---I was told I would only have to pay $350 for the total trip and not the $518 being charged to my credit card. The full amount was charged the day of my pick up and on the drop off today 4 Aug in Chantilly, VA, I was told no additional expenses were incurred on the trip. When I asked for a credit as indicated, I was told the Chantilly office can't do that and I would have to call UHaul $800 number to get my credit. THAT IS NOT how customer service should work. WHY DO I HAVE initiate the action, when assured by MA location it would all work out. This is a real pain in the ass! Please fix this annoyance fast or I will contact my Attorney Generals Office and file an official complaint. I have an email from the MA location setting up this deal!!!

Perhaps make available the truck reserved and paid for? Or offer actual solutions instead of a truck half the size located almost an hour away with double the cost since we now need to make two trips. We will NEVER use uhaul again.

Key drop didn't enter building or see anyone

Pickup site location was ill equipped. The staff were friendly enough, but had nothing on-site but the trailer itself. My truck needed a trailer wiring adapter (which the Uhaul site says are available at the pickup site?), but the shop owner simply told me I had to go buy one and suggested a non-uhaul retail store that was closed. It took nearly 2 hours to find a place a few towns over to find an adapter and finally pickup the trailer. Also, the information about my vehicle which was input online during my reservation had to be completely re-done at the pickup site. This meant a 15-20 minute delay when I returned as the single staff member input the information of the person waiting ahead of me, and then my info all over again. I'd never recommend this place to anyone.

My experience was terrible. I called to see about changing reservation from a Monday to a Sunday. Online it said there were on call locations to rent from on a Sunday but when I called I was told “the online system is terrible, I’m glad you called because the on call locations do not exist in your area.” What??? So I would have taken a ferry and an Uber to get to a location that would not be open????!!! When I did get to my location on Monday my reservation had been cancelled??? I never cancelled my reservation??? I said you have to help me bc I just took a ferry and an Uber to get here... to which the man said no I don’t. Nice compassion. Then I returned the truck full but they charged me bc it was 7/8th full. I literally went to the gas station a block away so how did it go from full to 7/8th??. Lastly, I was charged $25 for a cleaning fee on a truck that wasn’t clean when I got it. Uhaul is a major are these mistakes made??? Especially the online reservation issues.

Accidentally went to the other location about a mile away... was seen right away there and then found out I was at the wrong spot. Wasn't seen at the right spot for almost ten minutes. Nice guy, but was just busy with car stuff since it was at a car service station. They also did not have the requested dolly there.
