THIS COMMENT DOES NOT PERTAIN TO RENTAL PICK UP LOCATION! Comment for Uhaul NATION-WIDE online rental order: When I went on to Uhaul.com to make my initial Uhaul rental truck reservation, I also rented 2 dozen furniture pads. When I arrived at my Uhaul rental pickup location, the 15' truck was ready to go, but this location did not have the 2 dozen furniture pads I ordered in stock. The rental location manager informed me that uHaul unfortunately has no system to check inventory for moving supplies add-on's at truck rental pick up locations. uHaul.com can improve the customer experience for the customer by either: 1. Giving customer disclaimer that they should contact their confirmed truck rental pickup location to make sure their add-on moving supplies are available at their truck rental pickup location. 2. Creating a system for themselves (uHaul Nationwide) that is able to check specific location moving supply inventory, to make sure customer will be able to pick up truck rental AND the moving supply add-on's they ordered online from uHaul.com at time of reservation!! At the last minute, after picking up my truck rental, I had to scramble and find a different uHaul location to pick up my rented furniture pads. This was super inconvenient.

i actually submitted a COMPLAINT regarding this matter and location about a week ago and no one has gotten back to me TO THIS DAY. i am very VERY dissatisfied with the kind of service i was given. this location is not very professional, as they passed me off to a representative that works at a neighboring Chevron that was definitely not in the mood to help me in the least bit. don't even get me started on the Richmond location representative that helped me pickup an online order. both locations, excuse my language, but FUCKING TERRIBLE.

I ordered a rental van because driving trucks scares me. I noticed that my confirmation went through online, but I got an email back saying I had a truck. I was worried and confused so called the location to clarify. I tried asking a question about this, was yelled at loudly ina foreign language, and then told to call back tomorrow. Well at 6:30am I showed up and Li and behold, only the truck (with a higher mileage fee that I originally reserved, how convenient) was available to me. I was under a time crunch where I absolutely had to move that day and had no flexibility to find another option. All in all, an overpriced stressful day I never want to repeat again.

The owner promised me a discount because I ordered a 26ft truck from concord. Concord showed it had one in stock on the website. After I ordered I was told I had to go way out of my way to pinole to get it. At this point, because I didn't get the truck at the location of my choosing, that's an automatic discount. I've rented trucks from uhaul for years, Sundays are always free. The owner charged me for Sunday. Because I had to go all the way back to piniole, that ate up a good portion of time, so I needed the truck an extra day. I was told I'd get a break on the mileage as well. Not only did I not get any of the discounts I'm entitled to, but I never got a final tally and I did not authorize additional payment to be charged to my card. I'm going to dispute this with my credit company.

This location didn't seem to be as thorough as the pick-up location, but this may be because the drop off location is a Chevron service station; U-haul is a secondary business. Did not do a walk around on the truck or check to see if all furniture blankets were returned.
