I will rent a different brand of truck before I ever rent from this location again. The experience was crazy. First off, I could never contact them by phone on the day before or day of my visit. The phone eventually quit ringing and a fax machine answered. I was early for my appointment since my trip arrived on time and the taxi was quick in making my arrival. U-Haul units were parked near the road so I knew I was at the right location but both entrances were padlocked with "No Trespassing" signs everywhere. I suppose they are a wrecker service that just happens to have U-Hauls. I stood at the gate for a while and a friendly man told me he had no control over the lock and wouldn't be able to do the paperwork anyway. After a while a person arrived, unlocked the gate and disappeared inside of the building. As I approached the building a very large dog stood just ahead of me with it's tail erect which was a little scary. I just stood there for a period until another worker walked to that building and the dog following him inside. It turns out the dog was okay. When I got inside I found out that this U-Haul experience would be completely different from all of my past ones. The girl immediately started talking about me not getting a U-Haul because I wasn't prepared for her requirement of having a person available by phone to verify I am who I say I am. This process makes no sense since any criminal could call a friend and have them lie to say you are some certain person. Nonetheless she insulted me and treated me like dirt. I was almost out of the door when things somehow settled enough with one last attempt and I got lucky that one of my contacts called me to give the girl what she needed to rent me a U-Haul. When I arrived at my storage unit I then noticed that nobody had cleaned off the ramp. It was coated with mud.

I called the evening before my rental and confirmed that they'd allow me to pick up at 9:30am on the 27th. I arrived at 9:45am and the gates were locked. I call the main Uhaul Number at 10:15am still waiting on them to open and I was advised that I would be receiving a $50 check due to the issue. While on the phone and after changing my reservation to another location, the Owners arrived at 10:25am. I was told the check would not be sent since they did show up. No apologies from the Owners. I use Uhaul quite often but was extremely disappointed in this experience. I currently have another reservation for Jan 6th at a different location for a 20ft truck. Can you guys do anything for me for my inconvenience and having to pay my helpers the hour lost while waiting for the owners to arrive? Thanks.

I couldn't close the door and bruised myself. I had to stop a passerby two times. Luckily a jogger was around early morning. The door could use some lube. Otherwise the people, location and service were great and accommodating.

The customer service wasn't even sup par, it was next to non-existent. They rented me a 26' truck with a tow dolly. The dolly didn't have a pin holding in the ramp so no matter how much I tied it off it came out 3 times on a 300 mile trip, making it that much longer to get there. When it was brought up the pick up location they were super unprofessional and rude about it. My wife called them on my behalf because I was extremely busy, they yelled at her and called her a name I won't repeat on here. It took someone from another location in the area to call me and try to make it right with me. I DO NOT recommend this location to anyone. They clearly don't check the equipment they rent out and are, pardon the language, assholes when they are taken to task about it.

When we walked in all four employees were eating fast food. One girl asked if we were dropping off and took the keys. Noone looked at the truck for dings or checked the gas gauge or anything. It just felt strange.

Get your systems to work properly and make sure you are following through on your communication. I wasted two hours of my time on Saturday because my initial reservation as changed and this was not communicated to me even though your customer service said they did (they said they left a voice mail and a called me to which I neither received a call nor did I have a voice message nor did I even get an email). After spending 30 minutes figuring out what was available and going to tbis location, I spend an hour in line because the systems were not working properly. I had a schedule to maintain and as a result my day was severely hindered and inconvenienced.

The below sign is displayed in the door when you enter and the experience I had supports the sign. "If you come on with an attitude you will leave with it adjusted!!!" The most unprofessional management I have witnessed in at last 10 years anywhere.

I arrived at greenville garage at 8AM and found the business closed. I called the number on the fence and a man answered as greenville garage and hung as I asked why they were not open. I called again and asked him to open the gate and the response essentially was he didn't like the tone of my voice and proceeded to lecture me on how hard he worked 7 days a week. He said he was on the way in. At about 8:15, a man arrived and opened the gate. I followed him in and he could not help me and said the owner would probably arrive around 8:45 AM. He said they did not open at the posted 8AM. The owner arrived at about 8:45AM and would not acknowledge me. I walked in the office and the apparent wife of the owner finally asked if I had a reservation, which I did. During the data input she made me walk across the yard to get my vehicle license plate number. I have never needed that before. She never apologized for making me wait for 45 minutes and I feel she intentionally harassed me with license plate number. I am a regular customer with U Haul. I have rented pickup trucks and trailers from 3 other sites in the last 2 years and have never been treated this way before. I will never return to this site with their ignoring of the contracted pickup time and then being angry with me because I had the temerity to have a problem with their behavior.

Rented a trailer for two days. The guy tells me that if I bring the trailer back by 1:00pm on 7/2 (when they open allegedly ) that he'd only charge me for 1 day. At 1:10 on 7/2 I call and ask if they were going to open. He proceeds to chastise me for calling saying they were on their way and how everyone wants something instantly. I told him that I was confused if they were going to be open or not because their website said they were closed! They show up at 1:30 and still charged me for both days! It's not MY fault that you can't get there on time!
