Truck was clean but very old.

Two main items to be dealt with are 1) rear view mirror setup on passenger side was set, and could not be adjusted, so all that could be seen was the side of the truck which meant I could not see any cars beside the truck nor could I see items beside the truck when backing up...A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION and 2) on returning the truck there was no explanation of the bill but just that it would be emailed and upon getting the bill I was charged an additional $10 for fuel when I am 98% certain I had returned it with sufficient as this was the last thing I checked before exiting the vehicle. I called the location and they were to get back to me a second time but I have not heard anything. If this charge had been identified to me before the bill being emailed I would have gone with the operator to confirm the amount. These are easy things to fix and hopefully uhaul looks into them for your next customers but for me I will most likely will not rent a uhaul again due to these 2 items.

Terrible service , Long wait serving Convenience store Guests first and lots of interruption . Charged for cleaning the Van after bringing it back because there was a Plastic wrap of water and few Pretzels on floor , Note when I rented the Van my hands turned Black as I touched the steering wheel . I did not complain I bought a Sanitizer and cleaned all Dashboard and Steering wheel . Will never Rent from this location or most probably any U-Haul if I don't get my $25 Back and a call from HO

hi April we rental 4x8 trailer we did reservation 5 days in advance customer service told is someone call 24 hours in advance to told locations. no one call us .and they change pick up locations in last mint .and i can't pick up trailer they day we need so we pick up next day which is give us very hard we lost day now for this july i call for reservation on june 22 same things no one call to conformed. but i got email from 26 to pick up locations .name only no address .so i call in morning to check address and double check pick up locations. customer services told me all ok when we went to pick up trailer their is no trailer for us and persons told us we in waiting list for trailer.how can it possible email confirmed to pick up and their is no equipment for us to pick up . so i call again customer services and find out no one have trail but she able to find out trail at this locations. now when i was talking to persons he said next time don't use u-haul get some other services to rent . what kinds of services you have one time you mess it up same things seconds time also mess up we paying for trailer not just free you giving to us. you have big problem we got conformed order email and still not provided services. this is not first time we use trailer last few years we been using trailer about two times years . for this last two time services rate very very very poor . we will not recommend u-haul to any friends. for this review hope any manger will call us .or we don't care any more in future we will look for other rental company first if we don't have choice then use u-haul in end very very poor service we received from u-haul. two times we book trailer in last 4 month

Add some kind of tag or sticker on the fuel tank door which indicates the type of fuel that the vehicle uses. I tried to fill the tank before I returned the van but I couldn't find what type of fuel should I use.

I rented a 9x5 trailer, we did the light check and U-Haul rep said all ok. Except when i went home i realized the trailer had a bad tail light. It did light up with breaks and right signal but not with regular light

I had several problems with this specific location. 1 - There was a discrepancy with the mileage/kilometers - RECTIFIED 2 - There was no lock for the cabin - so there was no way that I could keep their equipment in the locked Cabin.'- RECTIFIED ( I left it in the front seat where I can lock it). 3- They didn't inform me that I would have to pick up my refund IN PERSON. when I called the 1800 number, I was informed that they could have mailed me a cheque. When customer Service contacted the 550 Finch ave location, they said that they would mail the cheque out right away. THIS WAS ALMOST A MONTH AGO!! It has been 23 days since the refund was promised to be placed in the mail. I have since had items mailed to me from that postal area - and it takes less than 4 days to receive it. I just spoke to Uhaul - and found out that the cheque has to come from PHEONIX ARIZONA - This was a CANADIAN TRANSACTION...CANADA!!! Very disappointed, poor move all around for Uhaul - Shame!

Unauthorized charge was added to invoice. I had to get the clerk to reverse it on return of the trailer. The trailer we booked weeks ago was not available and they sent us to an alternate location at some distance away to get a trailer. What's the point of having a reservation if it isn't honoured?

I tried the mobile check in and this took at least 3 times as long than direct registering. It was duplicitous and tedious. And after all the aggravation rather than the promised ease, the lock box did not work and I had to wait for the master key to open the box. So I needed to go to the counter anyways. This ate 30 minutes of my move day and added frustration onto an already stressful time. I also needed boxes. I asked for 5 medium and the cost. The owner muttered something and I returned a questioned pardon. I now realize that an opportunity was taken and instead on approx. $8.50 for the cost, I was told an additional $10 for $18.50 ish. In the prior confusion, I did not question this and paid. I met a friend only 30 minutes later who had bought multiple boxes from your company recently and he advised me that it was exactly $10 too much. Sooo, I was ripped off on top of it. And the last insult to injury was that I was called by the store 5 times the next day (I called back after the first but I was hung up on) saying I did not return a dolly that I even directly took inside and gave to the store clerk. I could not lock the truck box and did not want to leave it to be stolen. I had to call and get the employee to advise the owner that it was returned - for the rental to be completed. At that point my tone of voice seemed to prevent any further attempts at any strangeness as I was understandably unhappy. As you may imagine, I was not thrilled with my experience. Needed a cargo van on the spur of the moment to pick up some office furniture. Store staff were friendly and helpful. Van clean, late model. Everything went well, without a hitch. Will use again.

Ensure the clerks at this location are trained and capable. They were very misleading, unhelpful, and rude. The experience I had when dropping off the vehicle was a complete disaster.

Drove away and realized there was no gas at all. Had to go back and show guy because he said there was 1/4 tank. Got home, opened truck and no dolly which we rented. Had to go back. Guy told us he thought we changed our mind about dolly, even though he charged us. There was also no ramp. Never again. Dishonest. And we paid for mileage back and forth to UHAUL re gas and then dolly.
