We had a terrible time checking in and checking out. Other customers there experienced the same thing. Extremely frustrating experience. Number you were given to call if you need help goes to a mans voicemail who says he will answer it if he hears it ringing. Finally got a U haul worker on the phone who helped us through the process after an hour and a half. Truck was fine though. Would not recommend this site.Joseph K.

The check in app did not work as expected and it took a while to talk to someone from the help desk. This resulted in me being late for my move. I was on hold for nearly 1/2 hour. It was not a pleasant experience. Next time I would go to a manned location. Once I did get someone from Uhaul on the phone, she was very helpful.Seth L.

The website was down, and this facility does not have in person help. We had to wait an hour for someone to come from the next closest location to manually let us in the truck due to the mobile check in not working. Very disappointed in the service, will not be booking again.Shannan` M.
I had a horrible experience with UHaul. I reserved a 15 foot box truck 3 weeks in advance. When I went to pickup the truck, I was told that it was not returned by the previous user. I was then told that another 15 foot box truck was available at a location 50 minutes away, so I accepted that. I received a confirmation text for my reservation, but upon arrival, I was told that there were no trucks available for me to take. I was then again redirected to another location 1 hour and 20 minutes away, where I could only get a 10 foot truck. I reserved that truck, even though it was smaller than my original reservation. Not only did I not get the truck I ordered, but my original reservation was from 10 am to 6 pm, and by the time I was able to finally get the truck (at a location very far from my destination) it was nearly 1 pm, and the end time of the reservation was not adjusted for the nearly 3 hour delay. I got the wrong size truck, at the wrong location, for the wrong amount of time. The final location that I was able to pickup the truck from was 15 miles from my destination, whereas the original location that I reserved the truck at was only 3 miles away. I want a full refund for my rental, I did not get what I reserved at all, and the mismanagement of my situation by UHaul caused me to lose more than 3 hours of my day (and my rental) and extra money out of my pocket for the additional miles that I had to drive the truck. It was the worst experience I could have possibly had and unless I am refunded fully, I will never again rent from uhaul and I will make an effort to recommend to friends, family, and colleagues, that they never use uhaul.Jacob N.

It was extremely inconvenient that my pickup location was changed 48 hours before my move to a town 35 minutes away while my dropoff location stayed right around the corner from me, especially when I scheduled this two months ago. I left my car at the new pickup location, and in addition to the extra mileage and gas I had to pay for, I also had to take a $45 uber to retrieve my car. When I contacted UHaul they would not let me change the dropoff location to my pickup location without very expensive charges. Will not be using UHaul againKevin K.

Uhaul is not a customer friendly company, their policies are misleading. The uhaul I rented got stuck in the snow then plowed in. I called uhaul to utilize the road side assistance that I paid for unfortunately, it took them 2 days to tell me that road side assistance doesn't cover me being stuck in the snow. Based on the description of roadside assistance and I was definitely stranded on the side of the road why was I not covered but on top of that I was charged 2 extra days. Rip offAnthony H.

Valley Forge staff was great and able to straighten out my reservation and get me on the road with my truck. He was super accommodating and provided great customer service. The woman from UHaul that called me before my rental was horrible. She called to tell me that the truck I had reserved online at least a week earlier was not available and provided me with an option which was ridiculous - much to far away. With much prodding, she found me the truck at Valley Forge and amended the reservation. However when I got to Valley Forge I discovered she didn't make any of the necessary changes in the system. The staff at Valley Forge fixed everything and turned a frustrating situation into a positive one. The UHaul woman who called me was rude and gave terrible customer service. She does not represent you well.Christine J.
