Skip at John's Garage was professional and customer-focused throughout the entire process. On the flip side UHaul, as a company is a great disappointment. From raising the mileage fee by over 40% for the weekend to making the customers check themselves in and out (or charging an extra $20 fee), the leadership at UHaul has demonstrated that they have no interest in true customer service. I have been a UHaul customer for years but will not ever rent from them again.

I would NOT do business with Uhaul again!! The person I rented from was great! The Uhaul company sucked! Trying to make extra money off their customers in return fees and making me do it online.i return the truck clean full of gas and the night before it was due, teyed the web site to return and could not so I call 1800# and they cave me NO help then charge me $20.00 to return it. Never again!!! And I will tell everyone too!
Well I returned over half a tank of fuel. The location is great he was very friendly and knew what he was doing. Call your customer I had no internet connection. She had a hard time finding me in your system. Gave the women my name and location were I rented from and email address. Took her almost 15 minutes. Not her fault at all it was tour system was lagging.

Skip provided great service. I will use another rental company next time. Fuel gauge was same as when I picked it up but you charged me 10 bucks.If you are cutting it that fine (2.5 gallons) you should provide a way for the CUSTOMER to know how much fuel is needed to bring back to proper amount. Apparently you are tapping the truck's computer for fuel usage. Also, there is no way for us who don't have SMART PHONES to indicate when the truck has been returned. I went to your web site from my PC and there was no link to do this. Enjoy your profits.
Iâ€™ve done business here quite a number of times and have always been highly satisfied with the service and equipment. Skip does an excellent job and really cares about his customers. I can recommend this location highly!
I reserve a 10' truck each time I rent. When I arrive to pick up the truck, I am almost always told they have put me in a 15'. (Greed) I drive in the city where the driveways and streets are so narrow that I could not park a 15' without it getting damaged. I would prefer a van, but they never have one, although other locations seem to have them. John has always gone out of his way to be sure I have what I need and is ready when I get there. For that reason alone, I will not go to another U-Haul facility. If I reserve a 10' I want a 10'. I am a long time renter and need to feel confident that when I order a truck, I will get what I reserve. Otherwise, why should I reserve?

More than satisfied with my experience. Person at pick up was very professional, pleasant talking with and provided answers to all questions. Vehicle was new. It was a bit difficult pulling out the ramp for the first foot, however, being 69 years old may have been part of it. Thank you very much.
Windsheild wipers needed to be replaced
Very friendly and helpful service. Trailer was clean and in good shape but rode very rough compared to other 8X5 trailers I have towed. My wife and I noticed the trailer was very loud (even when full) and didn't handle bumps well.
I have always had a great experience with Skip at the Philipston location. He has always given me exceptional service and for that reason, I have always gone back to him. I am a Home Stager that rents U-Haul frequently for moving my items. I do have other companies delivering furniture to my locations also. When we discuss a time of delivery, it is firm. If I am not at the location, they skip me and return after all other items are delivered. I had to wait over 90 minutes to get check in due to computer issues and missed my delivery. Also, I had called to reserve a 10' a week in advance. When I arrived, I was told they didn't have a 10' and would have to take a 15'. The truck was like driving a buck board. It shook and was all over the road. This was the worst experience that I have had with U-Haul. As I missed my delivery, I need to waste four hours for them to deliver to other customers and then return for my drop off. I will be looking for another truck rental company for next month's rentals. I prefer a van, but unfortunately, Skip's location no longer has vans available, another reason to look elsewhere.
We hired one of your approved movers, they confirmed their arrival twice. Two minutes after they were supposed to arrive, we received a text stating they were not coming! They took our money also! I highly suggest you remove Kiki Movers from Rhode Island from your website!

Flat out lied and recorded that I returned the truck at 9:03 which conveniently triggered an "extra day" charge which I was never notified of so that triggered a "late fee" for non payment. Crooked!!! Robbery!!! Theives!!! Nothing short of FRAUD. I will never use uhaul again.
The best place to rent
Itâ€™s took way too long to pay and go we were there for over 40 minutes trying to get this to happen I know you guys are slow sometimes this is ridiculous very disappointed
Charged me 50 bucksfor sweeping out a truck that wasnâ€™t even dirty!
I pulled in to the parking lot and my truck was ready. It was clean and the gas tank was full. John is very accommodating and will use him again.
