We were given directions to Pack Mail and when we got there they said the trailer was at a different location...just up the road...when we got to that location they said the trailer isn't here and gave us a different location. We spent over an hour locating our trailer which ended up being near Hartland. Once we got there we were pretty frustrated to say the least. The gentleman that helped us was very nice and efficient.

This place is a scam. Be ready to pay a 25$ cleaning fee even if the truck is clean. They will charge you this regardless of whether or not you cleaned it as many previous reviewers have mentioned. I called to complain. I was sent two photos taken from the trucks of previous renters that were supposedly left in similar condition that I left mine in (nearly spotless). The manager told me he would call me back after seeing if he could get me a partial refund (he never did). After messaging him back on the number I received the photos from, saying i would be coming in to request a refund, he told me because of my behavior (I told him it is disgusting and baffling that he would rip off customers and neighbors, and sent a screen shot of similar complaints from other customers) , he told me I would not be offered a refund (8$ lol!) unless I write a good review. IT IS THE PRINCIPLE! YOU ARE STEALING FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS !! And you have the nerve to tell me my bevahior (filing a complaint as anyone would) is out of line ! PATHETIC! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT rent from here. Keep your 8$. I'll be calling corporate to let them know all about your thieving ways.

Online Phone return was nice, but cumbersome. It would have been nice to see a sample tutorial in advance. Had no idea what to expect at the drop off, and the process was more involved (how many pictures of the vehicle does one have to take) . Additionally, complicated by lack of reading glasses and difficult sun glare! (Hey, maybe a phone booth style return station with the key drop off would help us old farts?)

I only drove my rental truck approximately 20 miles and had to put 8 gallons of gas in it before I returned it. There is no way I used 8 gallons in 20 miles. The person before me screwed the next renter.

Scam scam scam. I too got the cleaning fee. It's now up to $28. I'm not going to call them because they know what they are doing. The uhaul website review page is FILLED with reviews with the fake cleaning charge. I will call corporate uhaul. I live in pewaukee. I'm telling everyone about this.

Arrived with the truck around 4:40pm. Staff was walking the lot, and looked to be helping another customer. At 4:50 I was acknowledged as he was walking by and said he needed at least another 15 minutes, and if the truck was ready, I could just give him the keys, which it was and is what I did. Next day I got a bill for cleaning. I was eventually sent a text with a picture of some dirt that was swept into a tiny pile i the back of some truck . I am certain that I swept-out the truck and left it cleaner than when I picked it up. Site person said it was my truck, and that he needed to charge me or he would not get paid. End of story. Maybe it was my truck, but I highly doubt it. Either way, I feel like I got screwed out of $26. This experience makes me question the drop-off point, and the trust that I don't have to be at the walk thru during return.

Too slow to check in. The blinkers would not go off. We reported the blinders to the guy behind the counter. He was too slow and tried to show that he knows everything because he said he does it every day. Big deal.

I got charged a 25 dollar cleaning fee when the truck was perfectly clean. They think they can just steal money because your credit card is on file. Not going to happen.

I was charged for two days even though I only rented the truck for one. It was eventually "fixed" (my card was still charged double, then it was returned, then I was charged the accurate amount), but only after I called to question it. Glad I checked my bill carefully! Also, they put a dolly and giant bag of furniture pads inside the truck, and then charge you extra if you actually use them. I didn't use them, and I didn't want them on the truck. They took up valuable space which I could have used for my stuff!! Next time I need a truck, I will not accept one that has this "optional" equipment taking up the space I'm paying to rent.

Don't auto switch the location. My original rental reservation, was moved to an inconvenient location. Only after I changed the reservation, was I able to pick up the vehicle at the closer location.

We dropped it off in the evening, nobody to check it in. However, they did charge us a $25.00 cleaning fee that I think was outrageous. If there was anything in the van, it was minor as I picked up any significant pieces.

The site was closed when I returned the van and trailer, but I called earlier and they did an excellent job of explaining the after hours drop off process. On the rental agreement, for the return location, it may be a good customer convenience to note the after hours drop off procedure, such as where to park the equipment and where the drop box location is for the key. Not an issue for me as I called, just an improvement suggestion.

Be upfront with additional fees if returning after hours. Saturday close at noon, so no way to return truck without using online return. Then it automatically charges you for another day.
