I thought the rental was good. The van worked well. We got my daughter moved out of her apartment. I used the 24/7 truck app and it was good, but it needs some more testing and debugging. It froze up a few times during the check-in process, while on my phone, and I had to switch to my PC to check in. The phone checkin is a good idea and the keyboxes are good. Just needs to be fine tuned a little.
I did the website pickup and drop off. Pickup went as planned. However, the uhaul website was having issues during drop off. I had to call Uhaul to return the truck: sent pics etc to complete. But, evidently the person helping me didn't successfully complete the check in and I was charged an extra day. Big pain all the way around!
Office was closed and mobile pick was tedious and took a long time. Will never come back

Easy and efficient drop off.
- This idiot was either trying to rob me or making a terrible mistake. He said I had "One eight of a tank of gas when I returned it." I was only gone for less than an hour or two. - Even if I'd driven the whole time,. doing donuts in the parking lot, I couldnt have used that much gas. I left it with just under a quarter tank. And I left $3 for the man to put it over a quarter tank. This guy charged me $60 - for gas. With $60 you could fill the entire tank twice. Total BS. Anyway, my experience with this UHaul totally sucked because of this.
The customer service was excellent. The interior of the truck had trash left in it. It also smelled a bit like someone had smoked in it.
This location is where there is a large moving company and that is their focus (not U-haul). The truck I rented was filthy in the cargo area. There was a pile of trash and debris that had to be cleaned up before I could use it, and the cab was not much better. I have submitted photos of the trash in the cargo area.
Equipment was terrible, truck vibrated so badly I could not see out the mirrors; car hauler straps would not retract properly. I was supposed to be price matched from the Penske rental agreement I had and they matched the total price of Penske then added taxes making it $70 more than Penske. I paid more for a much inferior product. It was morning of an 11 hour drive and move on top of that so it was too late to back out. Uhaul is the worst, go with Penske
I recently rented a U-Haul from the official U-Haul place in Peachtree city and ended up with a truck that was spoke filled and I have asthma and it made me very sick after that. The U-Haul from Betterway was clean and not filled with smoke and I love the guys in their ministry and we were very pleased with the Betterway site and I will never and I repeat never go to the official U-Haul place again .

The gentleman helping me didn't know how to read rental agreement. Truck leaked and got my furniuand mattresses wet.
I do have some issues with my experience with the Uhaul service. I received the Uhaul without any oil and the manager, Tommy Pauliaire, at the Peachtree City, Ga location (320 Dividend Dr) told me to do it myself and I'll be reimbursed. I knew that didn't sound right so I asked him, "you all don't have oil down there"........and he told me no. I immediately called customer service to confirm and they said I was only responsible for the gas. When I brought it back, I was met with confrontation and more lies. He was willing to put 2 quarts of oil in the Uhaul without checking the oil stick. Once I pulled it around to the shop, the maintenance guys confirmed it was bone dry and ended up putting 4 quarts oil in it. When I asked him whether he even check the fluids on the car, he told me yes and that the Uhaul has been sitting for two weeks. I highly doubt there is a company that makes disappearing oil, thus if that was the case why aren't we checking for a oil leak? After I called him out on his lies and how he had zero regard for my health and well being, he then told me he would cancel my order and I could go somewhere else. Initially, when I rented the Uhaul I asked him how many days was the rental for and he told me 3 days. I then ask if I only use it for 2 days will I get reimbursed and he told me yes, for the day I didn't use it. Well, when I returned the Uhaul I found out that was another lie and that I wouldn't be reimbursed, but only for the insurance I put on the Uhaul. The majority of what happened at the Uhaul store can't be conveyed through an email and I am so highly disappointed with how I was treated. Ultimately, I helped Uhaul from a truck breaking down on the road and something worse happening to me. I was told by customer service that I would be receiving a call from Chris Pool about this whole fiasco.

They don't seem to have a person working exclusively at the location. They do not answer their phone at all and do not respond to messages. They never called to confirm my appointment, and when I called them to confirm, they never answered and never got back to me. You have to go into a shared office, and eventually someone will see you waiting and go get the Uhaul worker.
My whole experience with U-Haul was 100% satisfaction! Great compan6 and people to work with!
Nothing.. The gentleman was a very nice an caring person! Everything was done in a timely manner...
More knowledgeable and motivated people. I have used equipment from ABW at a different location and was disappointed there also. When I tried to make an online reservation at a different location, I was directed to this one. I went in with low expectations and was not impressed. If I am forced to use this group again, I will cancel and go to a competitor.
