The location was supposed to be open from 9am-1pm and when I got to the location there was no one there @10am..I went to another location and the gentleman call a area supervisor and he came the original office to rent me the truck.I was a hour late picking up the rental....however Chris Poole made the rental agreement fair at the end of the day...Thank you to Chris Poole for saving the day !!!
Again this was a storage place. No one was there to drop off the truck. i had to call the answer service and they said someone would call me back and never did. Just left truck in the parking lot and hoped that they got the truck. What happened to UHaul centers???
Very friendly and helpful
First off I attempted to turn in the truck on the evening of 24 July. The phone number was INCORRECT on the U-Haul contract. So I had to drive additional mileage to return home due to detours from major road construction. Upon returning to the drop off location on the morning of 25 July I explained the phone number issue. I was told U-Haul has the INCORRECT PHONE NUMBER IN THE DATABASE. I turned in the truck with no issues. Will you please change the phone number in your database so RE tees can contact this location. Thanks.
The truck I reserved was not at the location I was told to pick it up at - which was already 30 min from my home. Upon arrival I was told to go to another location even further away to pick up the size truck I reserved. I did not have time to do that and my ride had already left so I was forced to take a smaller truck than planned and it was very inconvenient and had to make several more trips than planned as everything did not fit in the small Truck. I receive no compensation for my inconvenience and stress. I WILL NOT USE UHAUL AGAIN!
This was and still is a horrible experience since I'm dealing with them now. I drove 15 miles and was billed for 209 because they forgot to log the odometer correctly. I called the manager and he attempted to blame me for not reading the odometer before driving off. Here's the kicker...I only rented the truck for 2 hours so they apparently believe I drove 209 miles in 2 hours. This place has stolen my money and the manager Chris is unwilling to call or respond to me even after I emailed him 3 separate times and called corporate twice. I strongly suggest you go anywhere else and would hate to see anyone have to deal with the headache of attempting to retrieve stolen money from this facility. I hope corporate reads this and makes the appropriate changes to not allow the current management to continue stealing from unsuspecting customers.
When we attempted to drop off the rental truck, the location's door was locked, during the hours of operation with an open sign that was illuminated. Moreover, the phone number listed for the location was not in service. The sole employee was at lunch and we waited 20 minutes for her return. This was a rather unpleasant experience for us and, after using Uhaul on several occasions in the past, we will now reconsider going forward.

Cost per/mile of $0.99 plus gas used is prohibitive and unreasonable!

Make sure Equipment is available at sight. I was given 4 different locations change after change email. Plus I needed a 10 foot truck U- haul tried to give me a 15 foot truck that was to big. Converted to a Van. Got to 126 Huddleston location and they had 1 van but it was due to be rented out again the next day and I had a 2 day rental contract. They worked with me and gave me the Van. Dispatch needs to do a much better job knowing which locations actually have the right equipment to meet the contract request.

This is the 3rd time I have rented on line a U-Haul for Peachtree City in the past 2.5 years. The on-line system allows the customer to reserve equipment and supplies at locations that do not carry the equipment & supplies. On all three rentals I had to go to at least 2 locations to get all the items I reserved and on 1 occasion 3 places. The on line system should not allow a customer to reserve equipment the location never carries. This is 3rd time I have pointed this out both through the review process and by phone. It is disappointing after 2.5 years the problem still exists.
customer service at uhaul, not the location is lacking - the customer before me was too late upon returning the van I reserved which affected me - if I reserve a vehicle at a certain location, I expect to pick up the vehicle at said location, I should not be required to drive to another location - in this case it was nearby, but if it hadn't been, I would have been severely inconvenienced - uhaul should be required to provide the vehicle at the reservation location, no require the customer to drive to another location to get a vehicle
Wonderful experience. That Ford van was great. good gas mileage
