My only recommendation would to remove the utility dolly and furniture pads from the back of the truck when the customer does not request them. Having them fastened to the wall in the end of the truck effectively eliminates the last couple feet of space in the back of the truck, and the only option if you truly need that space is to break the seal and pay for a dolly/pads you didn’t want.

I do like the owners of this location. But I’m sadly disappointed by the customer service. I just want to clarify the return time I returned the truck at 6:30pm. I realized I stated 4 hr use but brought it back on two and would like my receipt to be accurate. I dropped the key in the box because you closed at 5pm but took a picture of Odometer upon return in your lot. I would like to state a concern for the future please, maybe a courtesy call to say you Don’t have the truck I reserved via credit card etc. online, before I arrive and wait 30 min, to then with no choice because I need a truck to use a larger truck because it’s all you have on the lot. It was too big for what we needed and our items moved around inside way too much. We could not tie them down due to how fragile the paint was still on the item. I live close and I truly like the owners and want to continue to rent from you, but please for the future call me if you don’t have the truck I rent, give me the option and maybe please assist with quickly locating another truck at another location to fill my request? Luckily the Park Hills location could accommodate me when I had a truck reserved at the Ace Hardware location but they were not open on the 4th. So imagine my frustration when I go to pick it up and find they are closed. Someone really dropped the ball and put me in a real bind. I had others depending on me to be somewhere on a timely manner and I did not make it. Very unhappy with that experience.

When we opened the back of the truck to begin loading furniture, the seal on the “dolly”was broken and it was rolling around in the back of the truck. We did not use the “dolly” but incurred a $7 charge for the broken seal. Otherwise, it was a good company to work with and we will use them in the future. We will be sure to check the truck next time before pulling off the lot!

The location Is convenient to home so that is the upside. The downside is that it is at an old motel location that has been converted to a storage center. I could hear voices so I assume someone now lives there. There is no space to park, and you have to back a large truck out onto a curvy and busy road.

Absolutely horrible experience with online and corporate customer service. Reserved truck online with intent of only taking it one-way. At no point did the website warn me or inform me that the cargo vans are only available for in-town rentals. I called on Monday night to try and schedule a location. Was able to get a hold of one nice representative who attempted to transfer me to another department. Due to the time of the call, I was unable to connect to the other department. I called this department back on Tuesday morning. I was transferred twice before reaching a very nasty woman who told me that the only option was to return the truck where we were and pay double the rental fee. I asked for the corporate number to try and resolve the problem. I reached corporate and was transferred twice again before reaching a very rude man who argued with me about the rental. Stating that, in office they were unable to complete the rental under the conditions that I mentioned, and stating that the very last line of the contract stated that it must be returned to the same location. After this experience with Uhaul customer service, I will never rent from them again.

Very disappointed with the pick up location!! I reserved the equipment three weeks in advance with my preferred pick up location about five miles from my home, they sent me twenty five miles away from my home for pickup!! The equipment performed very well but very dirty!!

The place is a former motel that is now rented out for storage area and U Haul is in the lot, Donna was very nice and came out to help us on her afternoon off and in the rain. Her boss, John, came over to unhook the car transport in the rain, even though he had just gotten out of hospital with pneumonia the day before. The office is "for their eyes only" as was a mess and Donna begrudgingly let me use the bathroom as it was a real need. I think they are mainly a drop off and pick up location but they were both wonderful in helping us.

I had an 9 am appointment on 3/31/2018 to pick up a car trailer however i arrived late around 10 am where the lady working was outside smoking when she finished her cigarette we both went inside and she knew who I was she went to the computer to started the transaction and she had troubles getting it to work this took along time the first issue was due to her having the wrong tongue weight in the system for my vehicle and she said she could not get it to take it and kept saying let me try this talking to herself a few times. Then she ask if my tongue weight was 4000 lbs I said no 8000 lbs and the system finally allowed it. Then she ask if I wanted the insurance and I declined. Then she had issues again and this even took longer. I ask whats the problem now and she said she made a mistake and added the insurance and can't get it out . I said how much is it she said $8.00 because she was having so many issues I said to her don't worry about it I'll take for today however I may not have the trailer back for a few days because tomorrow is Easter and I don't want to pay anymore then $8.00 for today only! She also said she was not open tomorrow (Easter) that she would not charge me for if I had came back on Monday morning. I could not get it back until Tuesday morning. I Received a phone call from the lady there at the U haul location asking if I was going to return the trailer today and I said I was driving to her at that time, I would be there in about 20 minutes. and she said she was leaving to take her grandson to the dentist and the office would be closed for me to drop off the trailer and when she returned that afternoon she would check it in. I said that would be fine but I wanted to make sure I was not charged for that day to. She said because it is around the same time I picked the equipment up on Saturday I would not be charged for that day. I checked My account and she charged my card $66.73 (pending) Then $190.17 and another $74.73 a day later the $66.73 Dropped off. However the total she should have charged me was $54.95 x 3 days = $164.85 Plus the 1 day insurance of $8.00 totaling $172.85 I call her to talk about the charges and she gave me such a hard time saying that I didn't get the trailer back until after 12:00 noon because she did not leave to take her grandson to the dentist until then I said wait a minute you called me at 9.23 and I was on my way there and got there in less then 20 minutes and you were already gone and the office had a note on the door saying the office was closed and would reopen later this afternoon. I agree to pay for Sunday Easter even though she said she would not charge me and Monday but I dropped the trailer off on Tuesday about the same time I took it on Saturday 3/31/18 she also charge $8.00 a day for 4 days when I only agreed to pay for 1 day because she had so many issues trying to fix her mistake of adding it to the contract.
