Not this place but Uhaul in general. When you sign up online to drop off in a certain location, calling/texting less then 3 hours before return that they want you to drop it off over 20 miles out of your way is bull. Luckily I already dropped it off early.

The unexpected 10 dollar cleaning fee is completely ridiculed. The tuck was clean when I dropped it off.

The location service was great. The telephone customer service and traffic of U Haul was horrible. I waited on hold for an average of 15 minutes before being told the person on the other end couldn't help me and they would transfer somewhere for the same thing to happen. I requested and received no follow up. I was mislead and flat out lied too at various times. Horrible U Haul customer service through the U Haul customer service telephone numbers.
The process to rent the vehicle seems to be longer than it should, everything was fine but this was the only thing I could think of to pass along for improvement.

Have local trailers at the Palmyra location, so one doesn't have a problem reserving one there. My online reservation bounce between Whitewater and Sullivan before the Palmyra agent was able to change my online reservation to his location.
I was completely satisfied with the service. I had reserved the trailer later in the day and ended up not being able to get it until the next day which was not an issue. The trailer was very clean inside and handled well for our move.
Need a jack on front of trailer to help with connecting and disconnecting it from a vehicle!!!!!!
I was charged fo cleaning of the outside of the trailer. This should be included. Especially after i was so patient during pick up.
The fenders were broken, the ratchets were very rusted and hard to use,
The trucks fuel level was lower than 3/8 when I asked if they could correct it they said no, I had to put an additional 15 dollars of fuel to put it where the paperwork said it was, the driver side mirror was broken in 4 pieces, the skirt on the right side was damaged, and something was wrong with the steering the steering wheel was far from straight to go straight down the road. Also I had to drive 45 miles to pick up the truck and 45 miles to get home from picking it up, by the time I got home the fuel gauge read 1/4 tank.
Drop off was after hours.
Next time when I make a reservation and get a guarantee email, make sure my uhaul is at the location I reserved it, not 40 minutes away. I was on a time crunch and had to drive 40 min there and back to pickup my uhaul that was supposed to be 5 minutes away!
The pickup site was good and helpful, but the entire U-haul experience was terrible. I had to drive 2 hours to pick up my equipment after I found out U-haul had no intention of honoring my reservation at the main U-haul terminal in Janesville WI. The worker at the main office was helpful, it is the U-Haul system that is not good. Next time I will buy my own equipment before I go through this again. Thanks
Usually the location renting does a walk-around the vehicle and creates a map of dings and damage. This wasn't done so it was a concern every time we noticed some dent or skid: did we do that? Also, the vehicle had some lighting options that should have been explained and a ventilation problem that should have received attention. We had to rent a car as people sitting in #2 and #3 got their feet burnt. We had to worry if the engine would blow up. We called 1800GOUHAUL but never reached a service mechanic to answer our concerns.
Have the trailer on a stand it's easier for everybody.

I was told that when I reserved the haul that a card was only be put on file until it was returned. I told them I wanted to pay in cash and the rep said that was ok so I gave them my card number. Then when my son arrived to pick up he was told the reservation was canceled. Then he was forced to give them his card number to even get the truck. They wouldn't except cash as a payment for the truck. So when all was said and done and the truck was returned. The truck was charged to my son's card. So all in all I am very disappointed with this. There should be no reason if I am paying a deposit on a truck that the dealer shouldn't be able to take the cash payment. I feel like either the reps that I spoke with over the phone, didn't know what they were doing, which I doubt highly, or the dealer has no idea how to do a rental.
No information given that fueling was required prior to return of unit. Very exorbitant fueling costs of $3.50 per gallon when fuels costs are $1.74 per gallon. Otherwise rental was good.
The guy at the desk seemed to have a lot of problems with the uhaul software, but he was polite and was able to make some calls and get me squared away.
