Dave, the person I dealt with, was very nice, courteous, and helpful. I have no issues with him. The vehicle had mud splashed on the lower side of the van, the inside wasn't as clean as I thought it should have been, and there was a coat hanger bouncing around on the floor in the back. All minor issues, no big deal. My real issue was the Low Tire Pressure light. I had to stop and fill the tire after I noticed the warning light. It never went off. Also, the speedometer was in kilometers. I was never sure how fast I was going. I thought this was inappropriate for drivers who are used to American speed limits. I just drove with the flow. I also found the $19.95 advertised price was misleading. I had to drive two towns away to pick up the van when there is a dealer in my town. That mileage was approximately half of my total miles which I had to pay for.

While my pickup location provided me with everything I needed for my move, I have to note that the U-Haul customer service - particularly at the U-Haul location on Belmont street in Worcester Massachusetts - were absolutely deplorable. With every question I had I was met with curt and unnecessary rudeness and impatience. In addition, when I scheduled my U-Haul two weeks prior to my move in date, I was not notified in any way that I would have to go from Worcester to Palmer (about an hour each way) to pick up the U-Haul. I will not be using his service again.

This was not our requested pickup location but the staff at D & M Auto repair accommodated us by allowing us to pick up the truck the evening before our scheduled pick up day. UHAUL needs to inform its customers when the pickup location changes.

Worse conditioned for the u haul truck . i think some problem in the transmission hard to run normal very slow run vehicle . never ever rent u haul in the life that"s for sure.

UHaul process for reserving and picking up equipment is slow and cumbersome. Lots of repeat entries of information. U Haul customer/order entry software could be improved. No fault of D&M Auto, they were great and very responsive. Thanks D&M....
