I was charged for two days rental because I had the truck for less than 25 hours!!!! This is absolutely unacceptable! I'm considering reporting it as fraudulent to my credit card.

I reserved a pick-up truck but the rep rented it to someone else. I had to rent a different type of truck since they gave away the truck I rented which meant I had to pay more for insurance. Additionally, the rep still had my personal info listed for the pick-up truck. I had to have a Uhaul rep on the phone change my info on the reservation to ensure I wasn't held liable for the pick-up I never received. However, I'm still disappointed my info was shared with a complete stranger. At no time did the reps apologize for the mix up, they didn't seem concerned with providing good customer service. I will not return to this location.



The vans transmission did not shift properly you had to get high RPM’s and then let up on accelerated to shift I would say it hadn’t been checked out befor I received it and I drove it to another state thank God I made it without a brake down

Don’t send them to Precision Auto. When I arrived to pick up the truck I had rented and confirmed that it would be available IN PERSON the previous afternoon, the place was locked up, no one around. I had to go to another location. At least Customer Service was able to find me an alternate location close by.

Clean the damm truck!!!!! For that price that’s been charged at least you should clean the truck. I had to sweep the truck because I didn’t want my mattress to get thuirty and the mirrors outside windows we’re terrible.



Not tell people they have unlimited miles when they don’t and service trucks better mine was leaking gas nd I put to much money in gas nd they didn’t even give me my money back!!

They were extremely rude and not helpful. There was a problem with the turn in day being wrong and they did not help at all. They asked for me to leave the premesis until i figured out the turn in. I sat on the street in front of their store for almost 3 hours calling uhal customer service numerous times being told something different each time. Because the dates were messed up i had to pay for an extra day that i shouldnt have had to pay for. When i asked this location for the main contact their answer was "i dont know you will have to go to the main location off of pearblossom and avenue l". If they are a uhal location then they should have suoervisor information. Over all this has been a God awful experience and i would never recommed uhaul to anybody due to lack of communication, lack of customer service on the phone as well as in person, and their inability to properly assist with a problem.

Lack of instruction on how to gain entry to the office for assistance. The tow truck drivers were on their cell phones and lack professional behavior. They were talking loudly/freely using foul language and did not greet us in the morning of picking up the truck nor when the truck was dropped off. When I spoke to an employee to ask for directions on where to get assistance, he completely ignored me as if I wasn't even there and walked away. When I dropped off the truck, the rude person who checked the mileage/gas on the truck just yelled that a receipt would be e-mailed to me.

I have used uhual for all my moving for the last 14 years and never experienced what I did on my last rental, I was running late to return the rental so I called uhual customer service to get a extension and the late fee waved before I return the truck, the rep was great and approved it and noted it on the account, When I arrived to the uhual agent at antelope valley towing to return the truck they would not honor the extension and waiver of fee and tried to charge me a extra day, I already explained to them I had a extension and they said it’s not showing in the system although it was, I believe they may have even changed my contract on the spot to show I wanted 2 days because they charged me for 2 days instead of 1 this way they can get around the late fee waiver and still charge me for 1 extra extra day.They where very disrespectful in the body language and they’re manners and even tried to kick me out of the office when I called Uhaul direct to see why they can’t see the waiver, I guess they got mad because they where getting exposed, anyhow after they said the supervisor isn’t going to waive the fee and felt disrespected I left and decided to finish my complaint with Uhaul rep on the phone. They also wouldn’t give me a copy of my receipt until I requested one. I did not authorize the charges and will be disputing them if I don’t get the fee waived. I have file the complaint and waiting on uhual to get back to me after 72 hours. I would like to note that being a business owner it’s crucial to have good service but even bad service doesn’t cheat and lie and these guys are horrible lowing to my face as they print the receipt that clearly showed my return time is 1:30 but they added 1 additional day to my rental to still find a way to charge me extra but my original contract shows I had a 1 day rental not 2, so they scamme me!

Wow in this particular location located in Palmdale I would definitely not recommend friends relatives anyone, because this particular location have a employee by the name Joaquin last name devario I doubt that is his last name, because he hesitated to give me his last name when I had requested he has no no no no customer service quality at all he doesn't know how to handle customer service doesn't know how to take care of a customer doesn't know how to approach a customer etc. This employee by the name Joaquin gave me a less than poor customer service a simple thing that he should really ask me how do I need my receive handle by email or hand it to me know he made the decision for me without asking me he just send it through my email which I was barely moving I didn't have no internet access so the only way I was able to get a receive it's because I asked for it and just because I asked for it he was even worse than rude I didn't know that it would be such a nightmare me using U-Haul truck for my moving......................
