This store provided the worst Uhaul experience that I have ever experienced. I have been a customer since 1970. The person was working the cash register was forcing each customer to pay a cash deposit of 50 to 90 dollars for each contract. The the guy said dont worry we will apply it to your rental and settle up with you when you bring the equipment back. Many customers did not bring with them that much cash, he declined to service them. Every customer had a valid credit card that they presented. If you didnt pay the cash even though you had a good credit card the guy would not rent you the equipment. Then all of a sudden the computer went down and they guy says he cannot figure out another way to rent the equipment. Then announced his computer was to be down for 2 or more hours and sorry cant rent you any equipment. I had to go to a difference location to rent a trailer. Steve

I received an email saying 'Not returned' and then 6 minutes later received the receipt for the contract. I'm guessing the first was automated, but it was slightly alarming. Otherwise, all great service!

Was somewhat disturbed that I was re-routed from Ventura to this place and first impression was that it was kind of "rough" (tow yard)...HOWEVER...once I got there, and started to interact, the staff was VERY service-oriented.

Truck was perfectly functional, but not washed. Self-pick-up process was not set up properly, so I had to call a phone # to complete the process, and the 24/7 agent was attentive but seemed nearly as unfamiliar with the process as I was (it was my first time using a self-pick-up service for a rental). Upon return, the parking spot for the truck was not clearly indicated (when I picked it up, it was blocking a gate).

I was charged for two days but only had the equipment 1 day. I tried to correct the problem with the location, on line and with a call to customer service. From the latter I was promised return call within 72 hours that never happened. I am very disappointed with the corporation.

The service was fast and easy, and the gentleman helping us was very nice. My only complaint was that the windshield on the truck was filthy, and when I went to clean it, there was no windshield washer fluid!

Honor the reservation amount and put people that know what they are doing in position to ensure things are done correctly. Girl in office of pick up was great but rerpresentative that we were dealing with was rude and continued to overcharge us. It took 2 hours to resolve this issue. Then we left with a tow dolly of which the left turn signal did not work for brake lights or turning, that is a safety hazard.

When I rented the truck a week prior to the required date, I called Kevin at the drop off location and asked him what time I had to have the truck back in order not to incur late charges, and he said anytime that day was fine. We returned the truck in the early afternoon. There was nobody in the office, nor any indication of what to do with the truck, the keys, etc. No "Open" or "Closed" signed on the door, no notes. We called him and he told us to drop the keys and the contract in a box. We did not have the contract with us, but he said that was okay and seemed rather rushed on the phone. Later that day I received a call from Haul asking when I was going to return the truck! I said we had returned it earlier that afternoon. Ultimately, we received the final bill from Haul and were charged an additional $40 for the "late" drop-off. I called Haul and attempted to resolve the situation, and was told I would get a call within 72 hours. That was a week and a half ago. I will not rent from Haul again.
