Improve customer service and the overall check in/ / check out system onsite. I filled out all my information with the online express check in. I was onsite at 7:45 AM as I had to be in Nepean with the truck for an appointment at 9 AM. I left the uHaul rental location at 9 AM (wait time at uHaul = 1 hour and 15 minutes). I got really behind and my day was stressful thanks to uHaul. In addition to that, the staff had an attitude.

had the truck for 1.5 hours, drove a total of 7 miles, the gas tank was at same level and they still charged me 11.50 for fuel charge and 7$ for the distance charge, this is ridiculous and I will never use the Uhaul services again. It cost me 62$ for the rental and it would have cost me only 70$ to get my stuff delivered inside my home by the brick instead of all the hassle with Uhaul. Lesson learned on my part, not impressed at all, I was looking to save money but instead I gave my hard earned money to a bunch of crooks.

The interior of the vehicle cab was not very clean - spills not cleaned. I was also not aware I could have parked my car at the overflow or parking lot across the street. Would have been nice to have been advised of this and avoided taking the bus to and from the location. Thanks

The staff were extremely helpful. The check in process could be streamlined and that would take some pressure off the staff. They had to put up with some very rude customers. This was due to the process being overly cumbersome. They kept their cool, which was remarkable considering.

The parking lot was super confusing. There was no way of knowing we couldn’t park there until we had already parked and read the sign that was taped to the door. Also returning the truck was a little uncoordinated and the staff members walking around outside didn’t even acknowledge us for a while so we were just waiting by the truck in the cold before we could return the truck.

Waited 20 minutes - Also the person who is responsible to bring the truck to the customer never. So ended up going to the back on our own. Truck was very close another vehicle. That was lousy service.

The only thing I called in order to change the time to pick up the truck, I have been informed to get an answer and some body will call me back and never happened, so I had to stick to the the first pick up timing. Ensure dolly rentals are GUARANTEED available if someone has RESERVED them! After standing in line for 1 hour, both items I had RESERVED, were not available. Employee told me dollies could not be guaranteed available, even with reservation. Obviously you want people to buy your supplies instead. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I am a supervisor in customer service. If you cannot guarantee a rental that has been reserved, you need to make it clear on the website. I didn't even speak to someone at the shop when i ordered the item, someone from the US so of course she had no idea about availability. Truly awful. Not only will I never use UHaul again, I will make sure many people are aware of the terrible service I had and discourage them from using your services. Like I said I work in customer service and I meet A LOT of people in my work!

Hire employees that are less self entitled and rude toward customers who are returning their vehicle. Fortunately this employee smartened up when he realized I wasn’t impressed with his attitude or else I would have submitted a complaint against him. I give second chances. Maybe he was having a bad day, who knows. Please treat me with respect especially when I approach you in a respectful manner. That’s not for all the employees. Just one in particular. Thank you.

We didn't get the right truck due to a previous customer not returning the truck on time. We got a smaller truck and we got stuck doing several trips in the rain due to this situation. This situation obviously cost us more due to the traveling back and forth to both locations. The clerk was great so no issues there and he did give us a $10 discount. Overall I can't recommend U-haul since sadly you never know what truck you will get, I shouldn't have to pay more for a smaller truck due to a customer being late..

I called to rent a truck almost two weeks in advance for the Saturday to the Monday. I got there exactly 20 minutes after they opened and stood in line for 25 minutes only to be told they had no tricks available to me so they sent my application to 4000 bridlepath unit 6... no phone call, no nothing! So, we get to 4000 bridlepath unit 6 and the owner of the store rudely tells me I rented it for the next day! This review could get a lot longer on how rudely and unprofessional I was treated by this employee, but I'd have to write a book! Very shady place.

The suspension on the truck feels very unsafe. Every time I went over. Bump it felt like I was going to loose control of th vehicle. Truck felt like it was not maintained. Very rough. Was told it wa clean but it was dusty, and dirty on the dash board, the windshield had several gps circles on the Id windshield. The cube truck I rented on Sunday was much safer feeling than this pick up truck!!
