The location is a very crowded garage. There was not enough room to maneuver the 15 foot truck and the location was poorly marked.

My experience at this location was terrible. I was charged an additional fee for fuel, even though the tank was filled to the level agreed upon in the signed contract. I received a phone message from the location saying my card would charged the extra fee for fuel because we did not return it with a “full tank”. It wasn’t supposed to be returned with a full tank, it was supposed to be returned with a level of between 3/4 and 7/8. We did that. We have a video of the dashboard upon returning the truck, capturing the mileage and the fuel level, and a gas receipt of 20.00. I returned the call immediately (March 12, 2018), no one answered at 613-747-2020. The message I left confirmed that we indeed filled the truck to the agreed amount, and that authorization is NOT permitted to charge my credit card the additional fee for fuel. The charge was applied today (March 13, 2018). I will be taking further action. This is unacceptable. I will not recommend U-Haul or this location to anyone.

My Uhaul reservation was originally with the Coventry road location however when I arrived - the truck and dollies I had reserved were not available and was only told half an hour after my arrival. I was also yelled at by staff members in front of many other customers after expressing my frustration. I also asked to speak to a manager and was told I could not because they would only tell me "the same thing, the truck size is not available and all dollies were rented out" Moving is already a very stressful time and this was certainly the worst experience I've ever had with customer service. I left the Coventry location is tears, with no apologies from anyone. Absolutely dissatisfied with the treatment I received as a paying customer.

The Guy taking care of giving me the truck had lost the keys. I paid for a dolly which They didn't have. The truck was empty of fuel. I was given two different pickup locations, this one wasn't the one I had specified that I wanted yet that is where I had to go to pickup my truck.

The location is extremely small and the trailer I rented was extremely hard to maneuver out of the area it was located. Also the area I was told to drop the trailer off was on grass off of a busy road with a large curb and lots of obstacles.

Maybe better signs for u haul parking at the location because when we dropped it off after the location was closed there was no clear indication as to where we should park.



This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever been through, I was lied too, disrespected and over charged. 1 week later and I’m still being lied too and overcharged. Right from the beginning I called this location to confirm my booking through uhaul for a dolly, the guy told me Uhaul overbooked the dolly and I would need to return the equipment 3 hours later or else I can’t take it. I am a business and had a WEDDING booked on one of my classic vehicles which needed towing to the destination so I went into the location to try and sort this out. As soon as the walked into this location a Punjabi guy was extremely rude, giving me attitude and blaming Uhaul for supposedly overbooking and giving me no choice but I bring the dolly I rented, THE DAY BEFORE, back within hours. I tried to explain the situation to him multiple times but he kept saying no, not hearing me out or trying to understand anytbing I was saying, he wanted me to bring the dolly back or I can’t take it. At one point he tried to kick me out of the store telling me he doesn’t need to service me!! Me being the business man I am let him have his way and just kept quite trying to explain the situation to him and letting him know about my wedding that's countint on this dolly. Not to mention there were other uhaul clients in the room at the same time, and this guy is embarrassing and disrespecting me over his own double booking problem!!! All of this to say I told him I would be returning the equipment the next day which then he insisted I would be double charged for a mistake on his or uhaul a behalf I don’t know!? Finally, when after all this I was the better man let him say what he wants so I can just get out of there and make it to my wedding on time which I barley made it causing me stress and ruined my whole day. When I was leaving I made sure to also ask him about drop off because I knew it would be Sunday and they would be closed, which then he insisted I drop it off “on the grass” outside the location basically in the road which has no security and the equipment can be stolen... I told him I wouldn’t do that, and obviously he instisted again which at this point I was in such a rush so I just left! The next day on Sunday I went to drop it off on trainyards and the whole location was fenced off and locked up......there was nowhere for me to drop it!! Clearly I wasn’t the only one having this issue because there was 2 other people having the same issue as me wondering what they should do(they had trucks which can be LOCKED up and key can be dropped in key box but I had a dilly which can be stolen if I drop it “in the grass” like he’s asked me to!). So I drove the dolly 5 mine up the road to the Coventry location, explained my situation to them and they told me it leave it there and they will be in contact if there’s any problem. I didn’t hear back from them so I assumed all was good and MOVED ON with my life. I received a phone call from a lady at Uhaul asking me about the drop an

The pathway to park the truck was a hazard to any vehicle. It was more potholes that pavement. The person I met in the office did not complete the experience. He did not read the odometer or check the fuel level or check for damages. I will definitely be watching my credit card charge to make sure I was not overcharged.

no I wouldn't recommend this location cuz no one was there to give me a receipt of return or confirmation of the shape with no damages!!! anyone could have damaged it and blamed me!!!



The main service representative who worked at the shop was very rude and dismissive. He did not acknowledge me for the first five minutes that I was there after I had greeted him. The car that we had rented was rented to someone else and we ended up waiting two hours for a replacement. There was another costumer in the shop who got bumped four times. After calling and filing a complaint to UHaul, magically a truck was prepared for us at the shop and we it was ready for us within a few minutes.

My reservation was re-booked by uhaul to this location yet when i called to confirm my pickup at the original pickup location, they made no mention of this and said "yes yes yes, just come in". When I arrived at the original location they were understaffed (2 poorly trained employees) running around in chaos with a line of 20+ people. Once i FINALLY made it to the counter (1.5 hrs in line) i was THEN informed that it was rebooked to another location in the city. Wow. Horrible service.



cab of truck was dirty with popcorn on the floor. Was told gas was at a 1/4 tank and was actually closer to 1/8 tank. I wanted to pick up truck at the Merivale road location in Ottawa and was sent to Industrial location which added about 20 km to my bill which I had to pay.

There was a problem with the key , getting into the truck and turning on the engine. You had to put key in part way to open the door and start the engine. Very frustrating. Had to call the pickup location twice and uhaul help once.

Need to be honest and notify clients defects on truck and not make them sign paper when on the back of paper there was written defects and not shown to client and truck was dirty inside found pieces of glass and truck wasn't ready had to wait what is the sense of booking online and all pads we're not in truck had to wait for more and they not pads they are skins very thin pads very dishonest people and on conventry Rd waited 40 minutes for service only one worker and the other guy was waking around telling people he was on break a d his name was Benjamin and he has no people skills and very lazy and slow very bad experience at both places

Moving van wasn't at pick up location. Forced to drive all the way across the city to get a truck that wasn't what I wanted. Told on the phone I would be credited $50 automatically, this NEVER happened. Charged more than quoted after drop off. Finally had to contact U-Haul ( wasting even more of my time) told someone would contact me to refund credit card, once again nobody contacted me. Currently wasting more of my time trying to contact U-Haul customer service yet again. Extremely disappointed.
