Staff at Hasty Mart friendly and efficient. Truck was there and ready to go- admin process very efficient. Only negative, and not their fault, gas was low, which meant first action was to drive to a gas station at .69 per km. But, we left way more gas then we had on pickup as completed move in one trip instead of expected two.

Again, there seemed to be no understanding of the online process. I did all the work of checking out with my phone, and was told to just drop off the key. Instead, once again, the clerk went on the computer and began looking for something or other. But at least at this store he did the right thing and said "Well, I'm not going to keep you waiting here." But it was still very uncomfortable walking away feeling like things did not go right.

This location had fantastic service. It was quick and easy. I really appreciated the simplicity of the process. No major complaints. Minor one perhaps, there was a water bottle and a plastic spoon in the vehicle and there were leaves and dust in the back of the van. Overall, I totally got my moneys worth

I have a problem : I was told that the gas tank was full when I rented the car .Upon looking at the gauge arrow it wasn't exactly pointing to the full trace but I thought that perhaps this is the way it is. I drove only 68 Km and had to pay almost CAD$25 to reach full tank when I returned the car at the end of the day and that does not make sense . SERVICE AT RENTAL PICKUP LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT. AGENT WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FACILITATING FUBAR'd RENTAL RESERVATION. ENTIRE ONLINE EXPERIENCE FROM ATTEMPTING TO MAKE RESERVATION TO ACCESS ACCOUNT AND VIEW RECEIPTS AND SUSPECT OVERCHARGE MADE BEYOND PAINFUL AND WILL NOT RENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN.

I will never use U-Haul again. I booked a truck for my move weeks in advance and 48 hours before my move, I was informed no trucks were available and that I would be given a van instead. No other assistance/compensation was offered. This is completely unacceptable as a customer, and I now know I can't rely on U-Haul for future rentals.

Keep track of previous bookings. We had to wait upwards of an hour for our truck to arrive. When we showed up, the employee didn’t call the previous bookings until we insisted we were late for another commitment. We also had to ask him to call again once we had been waiting for over 30 minutes.. although the employee was nice, and offered us a discount, we were disappointed with u-haul overall.

Not much room for improvement other than a sweep out of the truck. Perhaps that is something the renters should be doing though! The onus is on them to return the vehicles clean.

The U-haul truck arrived over 45 minutes late. I had to wait around for the truck to come. In addition to this, they were unable to process any of my other information while I waited, so I only was able to begin moving closer to an hour later than anticipated. In addition, I asked for a Dolley, which was not given to me despite the staff saying it would be in the truck. I have used U-haul numerous times in the past and am incredibly disappointed today with the service I received and for this delay in time, which meant I did not finish moving until very late at night. I kindly ask to be compensated for this.

the clerk wasn't trained, I filled an online application yet it took them an hour to give us the car, then when it was time to return the truck they didnt have an idea what to do and didnt take in the kms before I took the truck. The truck smelled like sheep excrements and cigarettes. AND you need to put fuel type on the gas cap

This is my usual U-Haul experience no matter where I go. Always disappointing. Unfortunately they are often the only game in town. I reserved a van and 12 moving blankets which were critical to me. I arrive to pick up the van the clerk told me they only had four. There was no apology, it was take it or leave it. "Go to another location if you want more". I returned the van within the 24 hour time, I was overcharged. The clerk could not figure out how to reduce the charge. I gave up on waiting and just paid. Also, there was garbage in the front of the van and the rear of the van was extremely dirty and needed to be swept out.

Agent couldn't fing vehicle in a system and refused to take it back initially. I had to help him to find in paperwork statement pointing to his shop, and only after that he took the vehicle, but charged over kilometers based on this strange 146km record that Montreal agent made.

The location was amazing the cost is disgusting I cannot believe I paid $55 for what I used it for. I used it for not even two hours and I also paid 15.00 in gas. Anyways I used it to assist a person with a disability who I support in the community I picked up a free couch for her she couldn't afford one and now we are paying 70 for something advertised for 19.00 I did realize that it would be higher then this but what a rip off. The gentleman was amazing at the store but u haul I am very angry at

Have employees check if equipment is clean when it is returned. When I got my equipment, the back of the cargo van was dirty with leaves. Clearly not swept or cleaned out after use.

Location did not have access to enough parking spaces for moving trucks. I was told that I would have to go to a different location to drop the truck off (although I was able to leave the truck there after talking with the store owner who happened to be there when I arrived. Had he not been there, I would have been forced to go to a different drop off site). At no point was I contacted or told about this issue even though uhaul had 2 different phone numbers to contact and my email. This is not the fault of the people running the store (who were very nice and accommodating), but uhaul should reconsider using locations that have limited space as this seemed to be the source of all the issues we had.
