Rojan and Omar were very delightful to work with, very courteous and great customer service. Better than any Uhaul experience I’ve had. Your other locations in Ottawa need a lot better service, this is the only one I found where I actually left happy. The rest have been tiresome.

The Uhaul website incorrectly lists the location as being named "Hasty Market". The location has changed it's name. The uhaul website should update the name and the photo.

The driver door creaked when I opened it, bending the frame next to the door. I was so worried the door would fall off or that I would be blamed for the damage to the frame even though I did nothing wrong. When I returned the truck and told the attendee about it, he shrugged and said “oh yeah I forgot to tell you about the door”. Are you kidding me bro? Not knowing about the door made the whole experience stressful not to mention the engine light was on. When I took the keys from the attendee he said I could extend my time no problem so I asked for an extra hour. When I arrived, another man came up to the truck, telling me he had had it reserved and had been waiting for me for an hour! I will never rent from this location again and was incredibly dissatisfied.

The guy has a lot of things to do at the same time, it is not fair that a person earning minimum wage has all these responsibilities. He has to be a cashier, to be responsible for the FedEx, for the u-haul, for the food, for the lottery... come on don't treat your employees like that. The van was dirty and with a terrible odor. The u-haul service is good.

The gas tank level was not marked properly. I had to drive back and talk to the UHaul employee to make sure I will not be charged for gas. :(. Also, I made a reservation for a dolly online and then at the location they told me they didn’t have one! :(

I would like to say that the worker who served me at the counter was very nice, BUT.... I had booked this van weeks in advance, and had a 2 hour window for the apartment service elevator in which to move my daughter. When we arrived, the truck was there, but unfortunately the person who had returned it failed to leave the keys. There was only 1 set, no back up keys. The employee tried to locate the previous renter, but could not be reached. He sent us over to the Coventry Road location, where the workers were not so kind and helpful, there was a line up of about 20 people, so I just quickly ran up to the front to explain my problem. No help whatsoever. We left, and ended up moving her entire apartment, except for the bed, using our two cars. NOT an easy move. A few hours later the employee from the Alta Vista location called to say they had located the keys, so we used the van to move the bed. I was so disappointed that what seemed like an easy move was completely frustrating, and a ton of unnecessary stress. This should not have happened, was completely avoidable, and I will not rent from U Haul again.

I had booked 10 furniture pads online. I was told at this location they no longer supply them. This proved very inconvenient. The truck was filthy, it had not been swept out before it was rented to me. I am very displeased with the overall experience.

I went to this location and asked to rent a truck as i was moving. When the date came they said i had rented a van and not the truck. How was i too move a whole house including a queen size bed. I did not get the van or truck. I ended up having to call on friends last minute to help me move with their pickup trucks. It was not a happy situation especially for someone who suffers from depression and anxiety. Sorry but next time i have such a need i believe i will go to your competition.

When equipment such as a dolly or furniture pads are booked, they should be provided. Not only did I have to waste time & money getting my own, I was also initially sent to the wrong location. The location my rental was at is no longer called Hasty Mart. This wasted an hour of my rental time. To make matters worse, the U-Haul website advertises rental price & km charge. There is no mention of the need to also pay for gas. This is blatant double-dipping and false advertising. I will be going complaining to the better business bureau.

While the inside of the truck was clean I had to spend a good deal of time cleaning a good 4-6 inches of ice and snow off the hood, windshield, and cabin roof. I realize there is no indoor parking at this location, but the other two vehicles on the lot were perfectly clean and free of snow. The delay interfered with my overall schedule, causing me to be late for one appointment and having to rearrange my tasks into less than ideal order, resulting in more mileage on the vehicle. I've picked up from this location multiple times previously - and probably will again - but this is the first time I've had a less than ideal visit.

Location was pretty scuzzy in a dirty convienence store. Bongs and weed paraphernalia promptly on display right beside computer where my information was being entered. The vehicle it’s self was in alright condition, but the notice to change oil was on the whole time so I couldn’t see my kilometres. I definitely would not recommend this location to anyone. But aside from the physical location. The ease of the website to reserve the vehicle is fantastic! I will recommend u-haul just not that location!

I originally booked a truck at a location close to me but when I went to pick up the truck the attendant didn't know the combination to the lock on the truck so I couldn't get the keys for it the attendant called the district manager and told me they had to transfer me to another location. He said he would send me a $50 gift certificate to put towards my rental but that never came in my email either. I'm not very pleased with the service this time so not happy.

Ensure that your gas measurements are accurate... I was accommodated correctly... but good thing I looked st the gauge before I started.... And quick check out? Well.... not so much. Plus.... the truck had service warning signs the entire time... very short distance or I’d have been screwed. Please ensure vehicles are serviced! However , the young man who took care of me was very pleasant and accommodating!

The bottom of the truck was all wet and damaged my brand new bed mattress. Although they were very accommodating since I surpassed my time and they were nice enough to let it happen.

The truck was covered in ice, didnt had any tool to clean the ice off the truck, i had to use my own tool to clean it. It took me 30 min just to clean the windshield good enough to be able to drive it on the road. The people at the location were horrible instead of understanding my situation he said “you have to leave the truck turned on and wipe the windsheild as it melts”. Due to all this effort i missed my elevator reservation at both new and old location. I will never recommend this place or this service to any one!

Staff at Hasty Mart friendly and efficient. Truck was there and ready to go- admin process very efficient. Only negative, and not their fault, gas was low, which meant first action was to drive to a gas station at .69 per km. But, we left way more gas then we had on pickup as completed move in one trip instead of expected two.

Again, there seemed to be no understanding of the online process. I did all the work of checking out with my phone, and was told to just drop off the key. Instead, once again, the clerk went on the computer and began looking for something or other. But at least at this store he did the right thing and said "Well, I'm not going to keep you waiting here." But it was still very uncomfortable walking away feeling like things did not go right.

This location had fantastic service. It was quick and easy. I really appreciated the simplicity of the process. No major complaints. Minor one perhaps, there was a water bottle and a plastic spoon in the vehicle and there were leaves and dust in the back of the van. Overall, I totally got my moneys worth

I have a problem : I was told that the gas tank was full when I rented the car .Upon looking at the gauge arrow it wasn't exactly pointing to the full trace but I thought that perhaps this is the way it is. I drove only 68 Km and had to pay almost CAD$25 to reach full tank when I returned the car at the end of the day and that does not make sense .
