Make sure people know they can not use debit as a form of payment.. But really in todays day and age, who doesn't allow debit as a form of payment... that is my only beef =)

Was "guaranteed" a 26ft truck and reserved it one month ahead of time. Was called 3 times to says that it wasn't available and then that it was and then no again. Settled for a 20ft truck with trailer. Called location before pickup and they said it was there, got there and there was no truck. Called head office and spoke to manager named Salia who wanted me to drive 50km to pickup a truck. When I refused she was able to find me a 20ft truck locally but this was still a downgrade. Moving day, the truck was definitely not big enough and too many compromises and accommodations had to be done on my end because of this issue that uhaul would not help with. The customer service and organization of the company is despicable. I won't be using uhaul again.

The door to the office was locked st 9:30 AM. There was no note of explanation on the door. I left a phone message and as I was pulling out of the parking lot I received a call from on site personnel. The tone of the conversation implied that I wasn't doing things correctly. I went back, and checked in only to be told that I was to remove the trailer myself. I was floored , the service we I picked up the trailer was so good. With the assistance of another customer, the trailer was removed from my car.

Very satisfied! Was a bit worried they wouldn't have the trick when the day came but they did and it was so simple. Picked up the truck, it was clean and ran well. Very easy to drive too for such a large vehicle. We had the truck for 5 days for an in town move and it was so helpful. The woman at this location was great (as you will see from other reviews). She provided me with lots of information so there were no hidden surprises with fees etc. I would rent a u haul again. Oh and the location is great because there is a big parking lot to turn around, etc.

This was the 3rd location I went to, as my reservation for an auto hauler was for a phantom hauler that no one could locate. Although they couldn't find my original trailer, dispatch did find this one at a location 40 miles away, great service and most importantly, the trailer was there!

The woman called me twice to check when I'd be bringing the truck back on the first day I had it (April 27th). At the time, I was moving things and had to stop twice to pick up the phone to be asked again about all kinds of details I shouldn't have to provide-I have never had an experience with u-haul like this before in the past. I usually drop off the truck on my drop off date and all is fine and I never have to even speak to the representative. On April 29th at about 8:35am, the woman calls me back rudely asking where the truck is to which I replied that I thought the truck wasn't due until April 30th. She proceeded to tell me that according to my contract the truck was now late (at this point I was freaking out because I thought I'd be billed and I read the information wrong on my contract). She was quite rude, saying she had a customer coming in 20mins and she needed to know when I was coming because she didnt want to make them wait any longer than they will already have to. Her tone was not polite and her phone call was both uninformed and unprofessional. I checked my contract and yes, I did have the truck until April 30th at 9:05am. I do not know why this woman called demanding I bring the truck back and saying that now the customer is going to be yelling at her because I didnt return it in time for the next pick up...especially when the truck was already rented to me. The representative at this location should be informed that the customer is not in the wrong for double booking a truck, and that customers should never be intimated to rush a truck back, nor should they falsify information on the cusomter's contract-I was extremely displeased, offended and stressed out because of this experience. This made picking up the truck in Elmira and the representative at that location forgetting my moving equipment seem like nothing.

It was average it's only a drop off location it was not necessary for me to interact with others. The location is a little dark and intimidating i would suggest better lighting.



Wish we had winter tires



I was charged a gas charge even though I filled up to what I thought was the correct amount. The gas gauge and he diagram does not synch well. The person who called me to inform me of the charge let me know there was nothing she could do. I feel the 7 dollar extra charge was excessive considering I did take the effort to re-fill based on the provided guidelines. Seems like a shady way to extract an extra service charge from the customer, was not happy about it.
