Ensure cleanliness of truck.
The girl at the desk was very rude. Made me go take pictures of everything so she would not have to walk outside. Will never choose this location again.
Charged me $10.28, when I had just put $20! unacceptable! I was reassured that I wouldn't be charged further!
your online checkin app does not give the specific location for where the truck is parked at this location until much late in the sign in process. We arrived at the specified address- a postal annex at a strip mall- but there was no truck. Drove to the next closest Uhaul to see if it was there. They told us the truck might be in the loading dock area in the back. There was nothing in the instructions about a loading dock. We wasted close to an hour driving around looking for the truck. Give renters better up front directions for non-Uhaul locations.
there is no signage in the front indicating that drop off is behind the building- this was very confusing and should be remedied.
Was not happy to have to get a truck from this location just because they â€œhad to get it off the lot that dayâ€, according to the guy I picked up from.
The ignition switch in the truck was faulty. Also. The guy at the shop called me to ask if I would be on time returning the truck. That was rude as I had committed to returning it at a set time. I was actually hours early anyway. I don't need to be hounded while I'm busy moving.
The person helping me was a little rude. But I got the truck so we're all good.
Check in was extremely stressful and not easy.
The truck was dirty on the outside as well as the inside when I rented it. The truck ran well and had a wonderful air conditioner. Overall good experience. Easy to check in and check out without human contact.
We lost a few blankets and the attendant charged us $15 for the lost blankets. It says right on the bag that they are $6 for a lost blanket. I insisted that he call his boss which he finally did and got hold of someone named Celeste who confirmed the lost bags are $6. At this point he had already charged $15 for them and his system wouldn't allow him to change it. He called Celeste back for help changing it and she said â€œjust charge them $15â€. Obviously she didn't realize I could hear her. At this point I was furious and told them both that no we would be going with the $6 like it said on the bag and that she had confirmed when called about it. Instead of being bothered to help fix the problem she wanted to be lazy which would cost me more than double. They were not able to fix the initial charge and said the difference would be refunded to me. Worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. Next times I move, which will unfortunately be in a few months, I'm using Penske.
My counter experience was cold and business like. A little personality would be nice.
The person at pickup was extremely rude, seemed that I was bothering her to pick up the rental.....even though there were no other customers. Drop off was quick and efficient....CS was fine.
Truck was dirty on the outside, 172,000 miles on the truck I stuck my nose up. It did the job and the Grapevine without a whimper!
I went to pick up my truck and tried to sign online for contac less pick up app said waiting for approval for 20 min so I asked the guy inside he said he'd be right with me after he helped another customer but he never came out to help finally at 1150 I was approved in the app and got the code for my keys... I took the lock with me because there was no sign saying not too I locked it on the back of the truck assuming that's what I'm suppose to do. I got a call asking if I could return it asap... I was able to return it but not until the next day... I extended my truck for Sunday morning but was able to return it on Saturday evening at 6pm I checked it in on the app but was charged for Sunday and Monday when they checked the truck in at 230pm or so ... I've been waiting for a call back from manger about this billing discrepancy.
Very confusing, the website was sending me to two location.....also I checked in and they told me that I didn't so it took them 30 minutes to check me in. Honestly I think it's the website no location is at fault!
Setting up rental was very easy but when I returned truck with large dolly and 14 blankets I had no help. Since I am Not only 100 pound female but disabled and needed assistance I was shocked that staff watched me struggle and offered no assistance at all . Then I had to wait 30 mins while he was on the phone answering questions. I was so appalled with the lack of assistance that I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again. This was my first bad experience with this company .
We called to receive our $100 deposit back, as we were told it would be back in our account after 24 hours. Later the next day we still did not see the deposit. We called postal annex and the girl was incredibly rude saying the deposit was up to her when we would get it back and she did not have time to getting around to it today, so we would probably see it tomorrow. I said that's unacceptable, we were told otherwise, and that is my $100. She was short and rude and then said sorry that's just how it works. Horrible customer service. Beyond rude.
It took nearly an hour to actually get the vehicle, why? I expected it to take a few minutes. So stupid. On top of which you pay for every mile. Cost me more than a dollar a mile. Next time I'll just use a truck and do a few trips. U-Haul is an absolute rip off and now I realise that we'll be removing our business account. Given my experience and the cost it's madness to be using U-Haul. Adios from a really unsatisfied customer. I won't ever use U-Haul again.
There were too many things happening in this postal Annex. The clerk was alone and helping people Mail packages and assorted other things. Told me to just leave the truck in back. Would inspect later. Signage was not well posted.
The representative at the front desk was condescending. I don't know his name, he was not wearing a name tag. Truck had what looked like dried blood in it and had a horrible smell inside. Really needs to be cleaned
the after hours link would not allow me to complete my after hours drop off on my cell phone and i was charged an additional fee even though i messaged the company with the info needed so i want my money back now , this is ridiculous
UHaul rep William (who was excellent BTW) was the only person on site, and while I was there, up to five customrs were waiting for service. Recommend considering additional person to elevate service quality.
Steering and alignment were not maintained; the steering was loose and the alignment was off (steering wheel to left and front tires straight)
