This location has no training process on how to fulfill any uhaul orders. I literally walked in and the uhaul attendant immediately says, " I am new and this is my first day". I do have to say. That he did his best to find a solution. However, perhaps uhaul or the privately owned managers could have at least shown him some vital steps on the uhaul rental process.

The truck had damage but was rented anyway, dealer spoke broken English and couldn't find reservation until I showed it on his computer to him. He had issues with marking damage to it at time of rental that wasn't already marked! Truck was returned 19 hrs early and a 1/4 tank more gas tan it left with! This isn't the first time I rented from uhaul but will be the last! I asked what could be done to compensate with this and was told nothing and i checked pricing on tuesday and reserved on Wednesday for 50 bucks more!!!!!!!!!!thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Customer service is very poor , no one answers a phone and the agent was put out on providing the service, helping many others at the gas station part of the business before helping me . I would not recommend U haul to anyone

This was one of the poorest vehicles I have ever driven. It shook when I drove and an alarm went off mistakenly thinking the parking brake was on. When I called the location, the owner was completely uncommunicable. I had to hang up in frustration.

Owener BOB , hes not professional and gave us truck with "RENT ME NOW" sign and cobered with all dust. I had to clean up before drive. Clearly there was truck ready for me. Back door was openeed, cleaned, and ready to drive. We had argument and he just decided to rent me dirty, dusty truck. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS EXPERIENCE !!!

The owner was very rude and wanted to charge me for a utility dolly that I did not rent. He did not provide customer service skills. He threatened to throw my phone outside while I was on hold with uhaul customer service. He tgreatened to kick me out while I was on hold. He said he did not trust me. I am very disappointed in the location uhaul has chosen to accept drop off and pick ups for uhaul!

To improve you could fix your business model so that trucks aren't scheduled to be dropped off and picked up at the exact same time... obviously people will be late and screw others over. I was supposed to pick up my truck in Encinitas, CA at 9 am. I got there promptly at 9, and they told me that the person before me wasn't going to bring it back until 12. They spent an hour trying to find me a different truck, told me I would get $50 credit (which I never received), and I ended up having to drive an extra 15 minutes each way to a different dealer in Oceanside. Please note the 5 other customers in front of me in line once I got to the Oceanside dealer had the exact same problem, so clearly you're doing something very wrong. Below are all of the ways this set me back: -22 miles extra on my own car which is a lease so I pay per mile -22 extra miles of gas on my own car -22 miles extra on u-haul at $1.09 per mile -22 extra miles gas on rental that I had to pay for -1 hour shaved off moving time (30 extra min of driving and had to bring the rental back 30 min earlier than our scheduled pick up because this shop closed earlier than the other) -1 hour extra in car because the shop was completely out of the way -1.5 hours wasted trying to find a truck Overall terrible experience, and made my move way more stressful than it needed to be. The original shop that caused the problem was the PostalAnnex in Encinitas. I would like to clarify that Bobs Gas did nothing wrong. Will never recommend this to anyone, and I will be calling to get the $50 credit I was promised and hopefully more because the $50 doesn't even cover the extra miles and gas.

It was not inviting or helpful but it was clean enough for a uhaul place. I have folded blankets in the trailer that he pointed to and said carry though into my shop. I thought it was a little rude of how he said it. A please, or even can you bring those back in would be nice. Although I have never had to do that before when I rented a truck.

This was a nightmare getting our rental truck!! First we were to pick it up in San Marcos and do a check in with my phone which was a totally nightmare! It took over 2 hours for us to get our truck and i had movers waiting that i was paying to sit around while we had to deal with all this! We tried to check in with my phone, followed all directions send in my pic and lic and they kept denying it saying something didn’t match which they led them to cancel my reservations which i then had to call and do this all over again which they still denied it! After and hour and a half the lady send us to Oceanside where we got our truck! When i got there my price was more because now im having to drive farther! No one walked arount the truck with us or when over any paper work in regards to miles, i have used Uhal before but never again! This was such a headache and i was out wayyyyyy more money then i should have been!

I completed the early check in so I wouldn't have to wait upon arrival, but I still had to wait twenty minutes and all of the same information I filled on-line was asked of me again, so I'm not sure what is the point of having an early registration since what is promised is not actually delivered.

I had a reservation for 2 furniture dollies. I made the reservation 10 days in advance and thought it was supposed to be guaranteed. Only one dolly was provided. It made the move harder and took longer to do anything. Whats the point in a guaranteed reservation when its not even reserved?

I thought that everything was great but I didn’t think that I should Have had to fill it up with gas after paying 1.09$ per mile. I would have thought that covered the gas? Maybe charge a little more for the mileage and not have to refill it?

The wait was entirely too long and the UHaul app did not work. A waste of time using the app. Slower then imaginable waiting to be waited on and processed.
