Drop off went well with no issues

We had to wait 45 minutes to just get waited on. The customer before us had a problem and the girl checking out equipment had a great amount of difficulty solving the problem. Meanwhile, my son-in-law just waited and waited. This is my only complaint about this lication. When it was our turn, we got everything quickly and were on the road in 15-20 minutes.

I was 90 miles away when found out trailer was not wide enough and had to travel 15 mi to find U-Haul and trade back + penality and then one way charge for "auto transport ' trailer that was bigger than what I needed but made work .U-Haul needs to corectly label the inside dimensions of their trailers .

Multiple phone calls to confirm my reservation. Why? You called me on Friday afternoon to confirm my Saturday noon pickup. I returned your call, but was told you were too busy to take my confirmation at that time. I called back an hour later, spoke with someone who was able to take my confirmation for Saturday at noon. Saturday morning I had another call, to see if I still needed truck and what time I’d be arriving. Really?

The girl who helped me with my rental never did a walk around of the truck, but I did notice there was damage on the side. Also this location did not have any moving blankets which I ordered when I set up the rental. Not only that, I had to drive 40 miles out of my way just to get it!

Only one person working U-Haul counter and Cheveron counter at the same time. Too long a wait. Plus, the pick up location was changed without my knowledge.

Upon return, my credit card was charged before i returned when i informed them i would be paying cash, prior to leaving the station in the truck. How ypu ask.? They had me estamate the miles i would be driving , then charged those miles. In addition , i was over charged and then had to wait days for refund to be applied to account which in turn locked up my account. I realize vechicles must be succured with a credit card, that is not the issue here.
