The woman working alone the day we came to pick up our truck was completely overworked and was not equipped to manage the amount of clients that arrived that morning. I used the online checkin to help move things along quickly but when I went to find my truck it was taken by someone else minutes before I could walk to the vehicle. One truck had a dead battery and was blocking the other truck that the staff member issued to us. I had requested drop clothes in my online order but this location did not provide them and I was not informed until I got the truck. Upon returning the truck the parking area was blocked by the broken truck and one that had just been returned. The woman working that day could not drive so I had to move the other working vehicle to eventually park mine. These inconveniences add up at the end of a long moving day. Getting our truck took an hour into our day and returning the truck was also more of a headache then needed. If this location can better organize the access to their vehicles I think everyone would be much happier.
Customer service is terrible...book a truck one month in advance, when I go to pick up its the wrong truck .The young lady is very rude .
Truck was guaranteed for 3p.m. pick up but it wasn't there.
I was not provide with the dollies or furniture pads I asked for. I was refunded for the missing equipment but without the dollies loading the truck was difficult and due to the missing furniture pads some of my furniture was damaged in transit and now needs to be replaced.
Your company hold my money without any explanation eventhough I returned the truck without any problem. I will not use UHaul ever and I will talk to my friends "don't use UHaul".
Make sure the store is properly trained to receive information that was approved through early check in.
Better instruction esp if they are close and atleast clean the Truck for the next client.not enough parking space upon return of the truck.
Clean the truck cabin. Park it properly. Have the items that you guaranteed would be there. Do the basics.
Employees ill trained. I used the key drop box and later I received a call that they never use the key drop box. Why have it if not in use?
I booked a 10' truck with a duly .I went to the location the teller was so rude. She said I don't have duly! But if you give me cash I can give you one!!!!I told her I booked this truck with duly and you have to give me one .I didn't have cash on me just 5dollars , I asked her to give me the duly I will promise to give her $2 when I bring back the truck.she refused it and forced me to go to an ATM in the gas station!I paid 2extra dollars to get cash from ATM!!! This location will destroy your reputation.Because before me there was another customer who was very upset .
Found the staff rude, office situated inside a basement no enter network.
bad experience not worth the money to rent from them . it comes out cheaper and WAY LESS HASSLE to rent from a real company, the Van was not that clean . charge was not accurate , still trying to get a receipt . and dont bother calling the 800 number no one picks up .
Provide the equipment that the renter has rented. Made a reservation and when I showed up they did not have what I rented. Why did you rent me something you dont have? Very poor customer service, suggested I go to another location to try to get the equipment I reserved at this location. Will never use this location again.
Very small cluttered location. Trucks are squeezed into a back alley. Very hard to navigate.

None of the equipment that I reserved was left in the truck. Had to make an extra trip to home Depot and pay more then expected. The self serve process takes long and noone is available to help as they are closed on Sundays.
Truck was not clean the furniture pad and dolly I wished to rent were not available
I booked a dolly and furniture pads along with my cargo van rental. I was not told that these items were not in stock at this location until I came to pick up the cargo van. It would have been helpful to know beforehand, since I ended up having to call multiple other locations to figure out where I could get a dolly, which delayed my trip and resulted in me having to drive a longer distance to get that equipment.
Did not have the dolly I reserved and only had half the furniture pads I reserved. Incredibly disappointed.
the vehicle was clean but it smelled really bad. Overall, despite all the bad reviews I have read, I have had a pleasant experience. The customer service was nice too.
The van was very dirty, I could not even see out the windows and had to buy windshield washer fluid. Then when I returned it I was charged to have it cleaned.
Terrible customer service. Very inconvenient. Had to pick up truck in Toronto when I requested Brampton.
They are very rude, not punctual With having the equipment, and the equipment is dirty.
First, dont change the drop location without informing. I received a new drop location after reaching the drop location. Then the store was closed till 9am which was supposed to open at 8am. Upon calling the support numbers there was no answer from the merchant. Using the mobile app during drop off was a nightmare. I'm an engineer and I have never seen a poor mobile app than Uhaul which requires pictures and location information to process but doesn't ask for permission from the user and google to access the information it needs. I'm an engineer with a good hold on technology and it took me 30 mins to figure all this out. An elderly person would find it very very difficult to navigate your app. My experience was pathetic.
