Terrible time getting the truck. Took us over an hour to get lock box. They extended the hours for me and now want to charge me. Never gave me the dolly. I see why this company has bad reviews.

They switched the location for pickup and then the dolly that we requested was not available which led to waiting on hold and trying to work it out with someone over the phone for almost and hour which delayed our move. We need to be reimbursed for the dolly fee which we did not receive.
Reservations thru 800 # is not good - it's better if one can speak directly to someone at desired location. A worker at our desired location (which we didn't get) told us we had been notified of the location to pick up the truck, but no notification had in fact been made to us. Registering by cell phone is not user friendly for those of us who do not use them regularly - fortunately the business owner accommodated us by checking us in personally.
The gentleman wasn't even there to help walk us through the checking in process online and it took a very long time to get approved so we could get our truck. When we finally got the truck at noon which the time to return the truck should've been 12 but it was by 10. I was also charged for an appliance dolly which I didn't get because no one was there and no one was answering the phone. Moving is stressful enough but this made it worse. I don't think I will use UHaul again and I'm going to be sure to tell anyone who listens. This was a VERY bad experience
The facility was really a auto garage that had a few trucks. The U-Haul app registration and pickup was great! However, no one at the garage could offer any help. My only issue is that i had ordered and paid for 6 moving blankets, but none where provided. I guess this was because the facility was not a full service U-Haul dealership.
I liked that it was close by. I thought I was going to have to go to the one on Grand island Blvd or Sheridan. Convenient.
Make sure when the order a dolly for use it's in the truck so they aren't wasting time driving around for one
They had what I wanted, which was simply the truck. I only saw 2 there. I am not sure what else they could provide. But our contact person was helpful and pleasant. I was happy to work with him.

Tow dolly was in poor condition. On my trip, one of the wheel straps broke because it was worn. Had to stop and buy a strap at Home Depot so I wouldn't lose vehicle. The left side tail light fell out. The left side tire was low low in air. Left dealer when I picked it up with no running lights because they didn't have a 7 way to four way adapter. Dealers lot was not well light and he had poor knowledge of equipment. I have pictures if needed. I don't know if I would rent again due to poor quality of the equipment. I own 8 trailers myself so this is not the first time I have towed a trailer. -The process of 'checking out' was slow. -The trailer lacked a stand/jack that would allow hooking up or removing the trailer. I had to bring my own jack to remove trailer from truck. -no wheel chocks were provided. Potential danger could result from lack of this safety equipment.
Not a thing! Dom was very informative, got me in & out of there in no time. Went over everything with me & was a very good experience. Will rent from that location for future needs.
we had a very hard time opening the rear door, it took two people at times and was still difficult Looks like someone painted the floor where the rubber strip of the door meets it and would stick! At one point I had to use a crow bar to start the opening.

the first place I called had the 26 ft. truck on old Kenmore ave then went to go pick up and was informed truck was not available then I had to go to Sweeney st. where they don't open for uhaul until 4:30 which is ridicules, so I had to wait got there at 445 500 and they still were not there. finally I got my truck, at 530. after i moved and truck was returned it took them what felt like years to process paperwork. absolutely ridicules next time it will be with a different company. and the prices jump all over the place
To start things off, I made the reservation a week and a half before hand, so it's not like this ordeal was a last minute deal. So, to begin, I called to set up a time to pick up the truck I rented. I left several voicemails over the course of the next 3 days, for the man that runs the business. He failed to respond to any of my calls. Since I live nearby, I stopped in to talk with him at 3:00 pm. I was informed by his mother that runs runs the auto repair shop where the trucks are located, that he only runs the business from 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm, M-F, and 9-3 on Saturdays, which was extremely inconvenient. I was also informed that I was not allowed to self check out the truck at 2pm the day that I needed the truck. The timing of our move was dependent on getting the truck by that time so we could have it to our place when help arrived to load it. I was forced to get it a day earlier than anticipated and I had to park it in the street. Not to mention I reserved a 20' truck, and he tried to give me a 15' because he didn't have the 20' there. After talking more, he finally gave in and let us use the 26' truck, which was way more than we needed for our one way move, but was better than the 15' that would have never fit all of our belongings. I also reserved an appliance dolly, which I was also informed he did not have available, which I needed in order to move our refrigerator and stove. He didn't even offer to make a phone call to get one in ASAP, or even call other locations to see if I could get one from them, I had had to call other locations in order to fix his mistake. This was completely unacceptable. I would never recommend renting a uhaul truck from this location.
Even though I preregistered online and submitted my credit card number, I had to register and re pay when I went to pick up. Took longer than I thought it would.

The guy at this location was really nice, it's a small spot but he was friendly, walked me through and offered me to come back inside
Very accommodating as the suggested drop off location was not my reserved choice. This one was closer & not an original option.
