They were very disorganized at pickup. The van was a little messy, but we did not view it as a problem because we were transporting items in cardboard boxes. We returned it in the exact condition we received it, and we were upset that we were charged a cleaning fee.

The guy was rude obliviously didn't want anything to do with helping getting the truck returned. First started with me pulling the truck in the lot off of RT 20 (a very busy road). As I pulled the truck in a guy came out of a run down mini strip mall and was operating out of a closed hair salon. The guy started waving his arms and attempted to bang on the side of the truck. This is happening while 1/2 of this 26' truck is still hanging out in traffic not to mention I had a family member following me to the location that was also left in a dangerous compromising location because of this mans actions. I ignore this man and make the safe decision to continue into the lot and clear the truck and follow car of danger. At this point the man comes running up to the passengers side of the truck rips the door open and starts yelling at me that I needed to stop. At this point I explained to him the danger that he was trying to put myself, the rental equipment, my family member, and their vehicle in. His response, I don't care about that, I want you to back in the truck over in the right corner. Then I tried to explain I was given the wrong number of moving blankets. His response, I don't care about that. I park the truck lock the doors and take the key with me. At this point I realize why this man wanted me to stop closest to him risking a very dangerous situation. The answer is that he and this location are lazy. This location has done no maintenance to their lot and it's a sheet of black ice covered in a layer of snow. As I step out of the truck I almost went down on the ice. I made my way back to the office th return the key. I'm looking for this rude man in several rundown store fronts poking my head in and yelling "hello?". When finally he emerges from the back of the closed hair salon. He takes the key and starts to walk away. I ask him don't you want to look at the truck? His response, "your all set". I ask him don't you want to check mileage? His response, "your all set". I ask him don't you want to check fuel? His response, "your all set, I don't care about any of that". He then takes the key and walks into another rundown store front that has newspapers covering the windows. Now I am left in the parking lot wondering is everything ok with the truck? Am I going to get charged later for something I didn't do? Who did I just give the keys to a rental truck in my name to? Where's my return paperwork saying everything is ok? With all these questions I call uhaul and explain the situation to the lady on the phone. I just want to do the right thing and I gave the keys to a man operating out of a hair salon and there was no paper work and it was a little sketchy and I was unsure who I just gave the key to the truck to. She then gave me a response with a side of sassy, "well my location is also an ice cream parlor so it varies". Really? I'm just trying to do the right thing here! She also informs me that the man has not checked the truck

They got my reservation wrong. Then when I tried to change it for a later day, they didn't change it. Then when they finally changed it they got that wrong too. And to my disappointment, I got there expecting a 14' truck, they gave me a 10' truck. Never will I rent from them again.

Supply the rental agent with a spare key. I got locked out of the rental vehicle. The agent did not have a spare key, my roadside assistance were no help. I had to call for a locksmith who was 60 miles away and quite expensive.

I rented a car dolly. Was not informed I needed a plate number to take it. Would have been good to know before. Also, I was informed I could either rent for 6 hours or24 hours I was not sure how long it would take so paid for 24 hours. After dropping it off I went in to ask how much for 6 hours should I need it again and was told by someone else rather gruffly that they never rent for 6 hours. Strange.

I have checked on availability of uhaul trucks at sevaral different places in the area, this one seems to have the equipment I need when I need it. I just need to get used to the seemingly hidden fees that go with a rental. A $90 rental became approximately $160 dollar rental.

Truck was in a previous accident with prior damage no one ever walked the vehicle with me and when I returned vehicle was accused and charged for damage not caused by me. Rediculos!!!!!!!!!

This was a substitute location due to the fact that the original locations equipment was malfunctioning and had to switch. Then was charged a for deposit that was not told to me.

Not only were we NOT informed that there are no vehicles available to take one way, after being charged an initial price, the workers added on a 10 dollar maintenance fee as well as a fuel charge. The gas was on a quarter of a tank and that is exactly how it was returned. I will NEVER use this location again and I certainly would not recommend them to ANYONE.

After having to go out of our way and causing us to be late for an event and lose money because the location of our first reservation that I had done weeks in advance and confirmed days before was CLOSED, I am grateful for this location for being able to accommodate us. I am very angry because I lost money and that this location cost more because it was further away but I may switch to this location permanently.

The self-check in process was VERY cumbersome. That was not clearly explained when we signed up for it. Thankfully, the employees were very willing to help and check me in in the traditional method.
