Complete trash! Customer service on the phone was trash when I've called them about the issue I was having. The guy at the drop off didn't speak English! And that area is dirty and just unappealing! Complete and total trash I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

I was charged for the man truck which I did not used. They try to charge $45 for fuel luckily I took a picture of the gas before leaving the lot. When I showed it to the owner he said “oh that was and error” and charged me $90 for mileage. This location are VERY dishonest. I do NOT RECOMMEND IT.

This was my first time using U-haul and the worse experience I’ve ever had with regards to moving ! I reserved a truck hours before U-Haul only emailed me and said a representative would call me to confirm my reservation a young lady name Tony called and left a voicemail message when I called the phone number she left on the voicemail back the gentleman stated they left me the wrong number to call back okay no problem he only ask my name and reservation time and pick up spot and said I was confirmed nothing else was explained to me I asked the gentleman is it only the app that I need to retrieve the truck later and nothing else he said yes. I reached my truck at 8:10 pm my pickup time was for 8:00 pm. When I got there the app nor the website would load so I can take a picture of myself (I have an iPhone 7plus!) luckily my cousin was with me and I was able to use his Samsung phone to take a picture of myself finally when we found the truck it ask that I start a conversation with the rep it was never explained to me nor was it explained to me in the video that if I did not enter a chat and start this convo with the rep I wouldn’t be able to get the truck so smart me I didn’t start the convo and waited for U-Haul to contact me no one ever did so I called their hotline where a rep told me I had to start the entire process again from the beginning! While doing it over with the rep on one phone and the other phone in my hand a homeless man open the back of the truck I reserved and said he’s not moving! I let the rep on the phone know that there is a homeless man in the truck refusing to move! Of course the rep was astounded and didn’t know what to do so while she’s contacting a manager about the homeless man living in the U-Haul truck I’m here still not being verified finally she comes back on the phone and tells me they can’t veriy me because my license isn’t clear enough and they cannot accept my passport mind u I’m moving so I misplace my license and had a picture of it and I just happen to have my passport on me because I was moving and this wasn’t enough in the meantime my cousin was able to ask the homeless man to remove his self from the truck nicely because U-Haul could not verify me they suggested I cancel my reservation and let my cousin who has his actual id on him reserve the same truck fine ! I was transferred to the reservation department where frank was able to at least calm me down as I began to cry he let me know he would not be able to reserve a truck for me over the phone but he would walk me through the app process as we did this together the U-Haul website would NOT allow me to reserve the same truck that I had just canceled not even seconds ago! Frank had to transfer me back to customer service who explained I would have to pick another location very annoying ! I picked a another location 4 mins away and this U-Haul truck was in a deserted area by a corner store with loud men sitting on the truck and smoking and drinking I called
