I never got the email I was supposed to get about a lockbox for the key for my truck. A gentleman was nice enough to come to the location and assist us, but it caused me to be delayed about 1 hour later than I had initially ordered the truck and cause me to eventually pay double because I went a few hours over my time. I feel ripped off and cheated.

My reservation was not properly created, lpng story short due to this i needed the uhaul for another day. I was told i was not going to be charged the gas, and was supplied a credit. However i was still charged for the gas, i tried calling uhaul customer service 3 times, every single time i was hung up on. I am not paying any gas, as i was told by a fleet manager i was to not be charged, please fix this.

The van smelled of dog urine. My furniture ended up smelling like that when I got it home. That's not cool at all. I don't like that smell. All my belongings had to be sprayed and cleaned.

When I arrived to pick up my truck, i was geeeted by a man in a chair outside of the office with a laptop sitting in the beating summer sun. My reservation was not to be found and there were several glitches in the system. It too way longer to get the truck because the gentleman had to call uhaul directly to find my reservation. I was never given any paper work and nor was I told that I would be charged for the gas. I drove only 14 miles total for my move and was charged $18 for gas. This is ridiculous. This is unacceptable.

I had problems from the time I booked.My reservation was moved, the new place misplaced my reservation. It took me 6 or 7 phone calls between customer service and the actual location to figure it out. Then, even though I returned my truck well before the 4:30pm cut off, they were randomly not open. Despite a sign being posted that said they were open till 4:30. I arrived at 1:30pm. This was a problem because your online return would not work for me. I contacted the person listed in my reservation and they told me to just leave my key in the box. I did not feel like things were being taken care of and am still worried about extra charges now. Start to finish, it was horrible.

Worst experience ever. I pickup the truck w 2734miles w 5/8th of the tank. Returned it a few hrs later (after hrs drop off) with 2753 with a little over 5/8th of the gas tank. They charged me $96.70 on top of $44.05 claiming I dropped it off with 3/8ths of a tank. Now I have to wait 72 hrs to get this resolved and get my money back.. Never in my life did I think something like this would happen. Hopefully the pictures I sent in to the claim department with my pick up milage and gas meter and my drop off milage and gas meter help resolve this issue.

I did not get a dolly and still got charged for it per your uhaul office. I wonder if you can adjust the miles why you couldn't take the charge for not getting a dolly off my bill too. That is very disappointing

Had to call customer service before I could pick up my truck, which pushed everything back. Then I was charged for a late return, and was never contacted by customer service as they said they would.

My experience renting from The Shipping Terminal was fantastic. The van was nearly brand new, well maintained and drove perfectly. I used it for hauling some trash, and it was powerful enough to make it up to the landfill without any issues. I also have to say that all the personnel at The Shippinf Terminal were quite helpful and made the process simple and stress-free.

The vehiclw had dog hair in the cabin and thebfront of the vehicle was plastered with dead bugs. The drivers. Door needed to be slammed shut in order to close properly. The fuel guage was incorrectly stated at 7/8 full where itbwas actually 3/4. I pointed this out and was toldnit woukd be adjusted. It was nit. I had to deal with this upon return. The rental place in Burbank was good

This location should be shut down. This is the second time I've rented from here and will not be returning. I reserved a van but then didn't have one in stock. The 10' cube truck I received instead was very dirty. Also, I had to call a number on the door and wait 20 minutes before someone arrived to rent me the tuck. We also did the rental on a man's laptop in front of the building. It felt very sketchy.

This is less about the location than the overall experience. Since the location was not attended, there was nobody there when I returned the car, and the chain was up blocking the parking lot. I had to remove the chain in order to be able to park the truck. Additionally, I received a call the day after I returned the car (Sunday) asking when I would return it. Since the location was not attended, nobody had checked it in. I called on Monday and the location was not yet open for anyone to confirm I had returned it. Then when it was finally checked in, I received an invoice for 2 days even though I returned the car after 6 hours and the invoice clearly showed check out and check in on the same day. When I called again, the representative was very nice and fixed the issue, but now it will take 3-5 days to get the refund back. This was much more headache for a 6 hour, local truck rental. I've rented from UHaul in the past and always had good experiences.

The person who signed me up this morning was amazing. I had a 9:00 registration, but I didn't know I had to be there at 9, I thought it was flexible. But he called me at 9:30 asking where I was. I told him I was coming closer to 10, and so he left and came back. I really appreciate his kindness and patience with my mixup. Excellent service!

They were set up outside the building. Did not look very organized. The Guy who started to check me in was hard to understand and ended up checking in the wrong person. It Took 30 min to check in with me and I used the online quick check in. The same guy said he couldn't access the quick check in site to confirm. I had to give all my information again. Another customer showed up 10 minutes after me and left 5 minutes before me. I also Tried to use online return and was unsuccessful. For some reason when I was at the location before 4pm. They were closed. I called and they said they would check me in later when they return. The Location took over 24 hrs to log my truck return. Not a pleasant experience overall.

My husband arrived to pick up the truck (at a location assigned to us by Uhaul) and realized the location was not an official Uhaul. The employee there was unaware of ANY details regarding the rental. The truck was very dirty on the outside and had old food left inside. The employee had no knowledge of your policy regarding cleanliness or safety. We called costumer service and asked a number of questions including who to call incase of breakdown and received incoherent and confusing answers. I am very disappointed and concerned as my husband has a two day drive with this truck and we don't have time to change truck companies. The truck also does not come with a lock. Really?! Disappointing Uhaul. You are UHAUL. You're supposed to be the best.
