I booked my truck online only to have a message "no equipment attached to reservation", when my reservation clearly stated that I was renting a 9' cargo van. I arrived at the location at 9:40am to pick up my truck for 10:00 am - when the above message appeared I contacted the 800 U-Haul number - the person was unable to get a hold of the store manager or another store manager - when help desk was then assigned to my case he managed to get the truck attached to my reservation, by this time it was 11:00 am. Next I did the online sign in and was then given a code to unlock the key lock box, which would not open. When finally figured out how to open there was no key. Then was given a code for the key drop off box, which did not work and once was finally able to get into the drop off key lock box, with the help of the Self-Storage owner, the key also was not there. by this time the store manager was finally available and came to see what the issue was. Barry, looked at both lock boxes to see there was no key, he then searched the vehicle, once again, no key. Barry than contacted the last person who rented the truck to find out that she dropped the key off with someone in the office. When Barry was unable to locate the key before contacted the employee that accepted the key I had contacted The Home Depot and they had a truck available immediately, I asked Barry to drive me to the home depot, he went into the office a minute and that is when he contacted the employee who accepted the key. Barry then contacted the person who accepted the key and the key was finally located in a cash box, the time now was noon. Barry then advised that he could offer me a $50.00 refund for the inconvenience, I advised BArry that this was unacceptable and that he should contact his supervisor. The supervisor also only agreed to $50. refund. By this time I was more than frustrated and simply wanted to get the move complete, so I agreed to the $50. refund and left with the truck. Barry did apologize for the inconvenience but somehow this did not make me feel any better as I had been at the location for 2 hours in the rain waiting on a truck that I could clearly see was available.

Don't know why my receipt is lower than the money I paid
Ahmed Z.There was no attendant to assist you. Did not receive the before 5 o'clock phone to get final instruction. Had to call to find out what to do, after five disconnects and transfers I finally got some one able to help.
robert P.The lock was incredibly hard to open, took us over 20 minutes to finally get the key. It's rusted and the cold made it so stiff.
Tadeusz K.I ordered 1 appliance dolly 1 regular dolly and 2 dozen furniture blankets and nothing was in the uhal when I arrived to pick it up. We lost 2 hours of our moving time trying to find where to get this equipment. Very inconvenient, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
