We reserved the trailer at a location less than 5 min from my house but the day before pickup our confirmation came for a location 25 min away.. Also, you use to be able to return at any location but this has to go back to the pick up location. Staff at the pick up were nice and accommodating allowing us to pick up the Eve before or scheduled time tho for convenience.

I had made reservations well in advance for this move. I requested that I be able to pick up my truck in Cortland, Ohio which is close to my home. I know that there was a truck there. Instead I had to begin my long move by driving 45 minutes to pick up the truck. Also my original drop off location was to be in Mill Hall, Pa. I was to have a free storage unit for one month. I specifically asked it the unit was big enough to handle a 17 foot truck & the girl I made the reservations thur stated that it was. Well, after taking it upon myself to reconfirm, speaking to the men at the UHaul in Mill Hall. they stated that the unit was not big enough. They had no other units available. So once again after making a reservation well ahead of time, I had to call the center in Altoona, Pa where I was directed & told that they could handle my storage. Upon arriving there, I was told that there we no more units that I could just pull into & unload. I would have to take my entire 2 bedroom house, make several trips in an elevator & store my things on the second floor of the building. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Who wants to do that after loading & driving over 4 hours on moving day. I feel that I was misdirected thru this whole process. Oh you gave me a break by giving me extra mile...big deal! You are the people that caused major inconvience in the first place. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND U-HAUL TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN! NOT ONLY THAT BUT I AM REQUESTING A REIMBURSEMENT FOR THIS MOVE DUE TO ALL THE STRESS THAT WAS CAUSED BY THIS COMPANY. VERY SAD THAT YOU CAN NOT BE TRUSTED TO KEEP COMMITMENTS. WHAT IS THE POINT OF MAKING A RESERVATION AT ALL IF YOU ARE JUST GOING TO STUFF PEOPLE FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER. i AM ONE UNHAPPY CUSTOMER. I AM PLACING THIS BLAME ON MY ORIGINAL CONTACT PERSON, WHO DID NOT KNOW HER JOB. ALL THREE CENTERS THAT I DEALT WITH TRIED TO BE HELPFUL & HAD NICE EMPLOYEES. IT IS JUST A SHAME THAT THEY HAD SOMEONES MESS TO CLEAN UP!
