Uhaul should have the truck available at the location requested instead of having the customer running from uhaul to uhaul. I was not notified that the location I pick did not have my rental. I had movers I paid by the hour and I paid for your mistake. Not a happy customer! However the pick up location was great.

I reserved a 10 ft truck for two days, and made the reservation a few weeks in advance of our moving date. I checked my email before heading out to the pick up site and did the on-line check-in that was recommended. When we got to the pickup location, we were told that he didn't have our truck. He gave us a story about a truck breaking down earlier in the day and he couldn't honor our reservation. No apology, just "oh well". No one had tried to contact us or to make any kind of alternate arrangements. I had to ask him to try to do something to get us a truck. He called the main center and was told we could get a smaller truck at another location. Problem was, the other location was more than 20 miles away. We didn't have the time to go all the way out there. Again, the attitude was "oh well, I guess you are out of luck". I finally asked about another truck sitting on the lot. He said that the customer was late picking it up, he then called and found out that the customer had cancelled the reservation. He did at least allow us to take that larger truck at our quoted rate, but we could only have it for one of the 2 days we had reserved. Not only would I not use this location again, I'm not sure I'd use U-Haul again. A reservation shouldn't be "We'll try to have equipment for you, but if we don't, oh well, better luck next time".

Not only did I try for 3 days to get my uhaul because the truck was not at that location an they offered me a bigger truck I couldn't afford I didn't have a lot of money I had exactly enough the guy got frustrated asked basically why can't you afford the extra 10 well for one its non of his buisness an 2 Iv just lost my home an not making a lot of money that's all I had. But again that's no ones buisness. The next day I went to go pick the uhaul up they said to me at a DIFFRENT location then the one I just booked yesterday who asked my whole life (overexagerating yes but;) the women told me the truck is not here it's at a different location. So I had to go all the way on the other side of the city to pick the truck up I finally get there I thought I had enough but I was wrong so I had to wait till pay day which was the following day so I didn't mind (not your fault I didnt have enough but;) when I went to pick the truck up finally we got the truck no problem an it was in storage yard with trucks so my kids had fun looking at them while we were inside signing the documents but when we packed up the uhaul about 930 we finished. by that time we ran into an issue with my storage company (not your fault not blaming uhaul) the reality of what happened is I needed to keep the truck over night. I called uhaul an sat on hold for 45 mins !!!! with a truck full of stuff 930 PM at night I had work at 6 am the next day and i couldn't wait any longer we had to keep it over night I even wrote in the chat sat that open for over an hour !!!! No one wrote back I gave up went to bed got a call at 9 asking where is the truck I'm at work so I couldn't talk around 230 I called back sat on hold 35 mins the women finally answered. She was very rude and talked like she didnt care. She put me on hold and said let me ask my manager we waited... she said we can take 50 dollars off the bill I was like great but I knew I was gonna be charged more for keeping it longer but the 50 dollars off would have made it a lot more affordable. I woke up today on Saturday billed 189 dollars looked over the recipt for like 10 mins. Didnt see the 50 dollars off anywhere so as of right now I'm on hold with them asking where the discount is. I wonder how long the hold time is on a Saturday for uhaul?? Let's find out.

Office was hard to find. Poor signage. No room to turn around vehicle after pulling on to office... Had long backup. Could be real mess of more than one customer was there at a time. Staff friendly and good service.

The truck we rented a (15 foot truck) the AC was not working and as I found out later was listed for service to repair the A/C before it was rented to me. There was no mention of the AC not working at the pick up. We drove 500 miles in uncomfortable conditions for equipment rental quality we paid over $650 for. The uhaul rental is at the back of the property and service attitude less than helpful. Truck was less than half full with no way of checking before we signed the contract. Very disappointing

Uhaul scheduling is a problem. They called and canceled my initial rental location, and then redirected me to a different location over 30 minutes away - that was closed. The best part is I am staring at 2 trailers, but can't take one and have to drive another 40 minutes to the initial location. Where they gave me a larger trailer. I wasted a lot of time and gas.
