I am terribly dissatisfied with my Uhaul experience at this location. The vehicle I was scheduled to use was available over an hour and a half after my reserved time slot cutting my move time in half. My move was ultimately incredibly rushed and nearly dangerous to complete within the new 2-hour window. In addition to my 1 1/2 hour wait time, I had a miscommunication with the front desk about refueling the tank and was charged an additional fee for gas. I was explicitly clear about how I was going to return the vehicle and the front office staff agreed that I would not be charged an additional fee. So after a 1 1/2 wait and a poorly communicated gas charge, this has been a terrible experience.

Everyone renting a uHaul truck should take a picture of the gas gauge, mileage, and damages for their own records and then confirm if those records match the contract prior to driving off with the truck.

Reservation was made under the pretense that there would be late night return allowed. I then received a call from the partner location the day of the rental and they were expecting me at the wrong time and were closing earlier so I had to find parking for the vehicle overnight which cost me additional money. I called for support from uhaul and was met with a lot of pushback and was very disappointed with the fact that I was left to deal with a very inconvenient situation.

Issue with drop off. Self-drop off allowed me to drop truck off at this location. As I was leaving, employee ran out at gave me back keys. Told me I was not allowed to drop of truck and he would not accept it. We called traffic who seemed confused. Then told me I needed to move truck to 23rd street uhaul. Issues arose afterward. My issue is not with 10th street location but with selfdrop off

The people at this location were wonderful, but your pricing was tremendously misleading. Don’t fucking advertise $19.99 when it ends up being $120.

The fuel mark was wrong by 1/4, they had to correct it after I checked. And worse, I got charge Insurance even though I never asked for it. I did not notice until returning the vehicle and they said it was too late and would not refund, and that I had to ring Uhaul head office to get the refund. I tried that, but after 30 mins on hold, I gave up over this $16, but I am really annoyed about it.

I was placed at a location that didn’t have the van I needed available, no confirmation call was made in advance. When I called, they told me I had to go to Chelsea after I had confirmed with the previous person on wed I didn’t want Chelsea and how could I change this. They switched me to a 10ft truck (just to use the location, which I did not need). They were going to honor the van mileage price but then it did not show up on my final price. There was no appliance dolly in my van, which I wa also charged for. I was also charged for insurance which I had opted out for online. I would like to be discounted for the the insurance, no dolly (which I didn’t have) and for the van mileage. Otherwise, Linda (employee at desk) attempted to work within the constraints while being busy in Phone and helping others and myself. My experience was less than optimal and I have had previous good experiences. My total should have been MUCH less.

It’s a Storage unit with one van and the workers there won’t let you use the app to pick up or drop off. They also don’t really know how to help efficiently because they’re mostly dealing with storage. I had a pretty rough experience because I got into traffic and couldn’t drop off before the garage closed and therefore had to find street parking back up by my house in the heights. If I was able to use the app it would’ve been fine.

I rented the truck for 12:30 pm and when I arrived there was no truck. I had to wait an hour for a previous customer to return the truck. When it finally arrived there was a problem with the computer and it took another half an hour to leave the facility. I was unable to move all things I need to because of this lost time.

Terrible! I ordered blankets and a dolly for a reason, of course! And they gave me the van WITHOUT it! And all they did was just removing that cost from my bill, WTF!? This is the minimum for ALL THE TROUBLE I had. And in the end I was charged 3 gallons of fuel for 7 miles!!!! SEVEN MILES, 3 GALLONS??? What is this? My first time and for sure my last time. Thanks for making my life miserable!
