I was charged twice for the truck rental on a debit card and a credit card by the new "in-training" employee. I wanted to split the cost of the mileage fee and rental on two cards, but he charged both my debit card and my credit card for the same amount. In addition, I was charged for 6 day rental, when it was only 5. A call to the 800 # informed me I will hear from someone in 3 business days to discuss the dispute. Then it will take time to process the refund. Lastly, I had to wait 15 minutes before a person picked up my call at the Customer Service line. This is a bad customer service experience on all fronts.

I don’t understand why I was told there would be no gas charge by the attendant and on my receipt I was charged $12.75 for gas on 4 miles worth of travel. There is no way I used 3 gallons of gas in 4 miles. I will not be using UHaul again.

Work on your communication. I provided all the information needed and required and still all my information was incorrect and reservation was incorrect. Very inconvenient. Also asked about any extra coverage or free miles since I knew I would be going over the provided limit and was denied any further information. Young lady seemned to be in wake up mode and seemned to just want to get us out the way.

When i pointed out to the lady that i was charged a different amount on my auto transport she said i needed to call uhaul to get it sorted out, when i call uhaul they state that i should have fixed the problem at the place that i recieved the rental from. which means it was pretty much pass the buck and i got screwed out of 10 dollars. I was also told by traffic when i called him on wednesday that he would extend my truck rental to the same day as my auto transport. My auto transport wasnt due back for return until 12 pm. I didnt mind paying for another day for the truck but i was charged for two extra days because i thought it had gotten extended to noon but it was due back at 10 am i arrived at 11:15 and was charged $80 for having the truck for an extra hour and 15 minutes. I was then also charged for extra insurance coverage even though i didnt permit to insurance. I paid for insurance for while i was driving on the road but the extra day i had it, it was in my driveway and see no need for me to have to have insurance if i know for a fact there is no chance of an accident. Absolutely ridiculous, this will be the last time i ever rent through uhaul.

I have rented uhauls several times and this time I’m very pissed off! I declined insurance and signed a “Safemove declined” tag. Well the girl that was working “ accidentally” attached the wrong color tag to the contract. So now I have to pay for something that I SPECIFICALLY asked not to add on.

Called the 800 number to find out where we were to drop of the trailer. Girl on the phone told us to drop it at any location in new bern. Which we found out was apparently wrong info. You need to train your people on the 800 number or hire people that care to do there job. River mills storage center was great and would recomend them
