U-Haul s computer system would not verify my vehicle due to issues with system and it took 45 Minutes to check me in. I felt bad for they lady helping me, they have a business to run here.

The drop off area in the back should be more lit; it was very dark. Also, the hilly part of the lot is difficult to drop off solo - they should at least mention that. Otherwise customer service was great - I’m the office for picking up and picking up the trailer was great. They were all very helpful and personable!



I was overcharged on mileage and wasted a week calling customer service only to sit on hold for an hour each time. I also tried to reach out and email customer service on AUGUST 2nd, and still didn’t not receive a response. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of communication or care to get with me. I will not recommend using U-Haul. Get your customer service up to speed.

Rhonda was a big help. The online check in process was horrible, if it wasn’t for Rhonda showing up when she did I would’ve been waiting for normal business hours. Also, my account has been charged twice, during reservations it timed out and I went through the proc as again. Someone called me to confirm that I only needed one truck. Therefore, I’m not understanding why my account has been charged for two trucks.

i dropped off my trailer overnight. The shop didn’t catch it. After hours I called UHaul customer service and they informed me incorrectly that the site was not 24/7. Store manager says otherwise. The trailer wasn’t registered as returned and I was still responsible for it. Next day I stop by the store. Lady was very helpful but your site didn’t recognize the trailer as valid. Took another day to straighten out. Uhauls employees make the company. Your computer issues make me unlikely to use the company again.

I placed my order for a 15' truck, 24 furniture pads and an appliance dolly in early March. I called two days prior to my pick-up date in late April to confirm that everything was ready and available. I was told that other than my truck being changed to a 20' truck for no extra charge everything was good to go. When my dad picked up the truck, there were no furniture pads and no dolly and no explanation for where they had gone in the two days since I confirmed their availability. no refund was offered. I had to run out and buy $20 lifting straps so I could actually move my belongings. So now I have spent $32 on things that U-Haul didn't provide me and another $20 on replacing the stuff I had confirmed. Reaching out to U-Haul for a refund has been a nightmare. After filling out the contact form, calling and waiting on hold while the hold 'music' just endlessly repeated "fill out a review", and even tweeting, I received a response stating that I should be receiving a refund which made me very happy- but it still hasn't arrived two weeks later. I reached out to the person who emailed me after a week and still haven't heard back. So U-Haul owes me $52 and hopefully they send it soon. I suggest that a moving family consider other companies- maybe ones that can actually provide what they promise or at least are reachable when things go wrong.
