I arrived exactly at my pick up time which happened to be the time the store opened. I was the only one being checked in and I was in a hurry to get the truck and get back home before my movers got there. The guy checking me out left in the middle of helping me to go check in another customer (who arrived after me), have them sign all the paperwork, pay and get their keys; then he came back to me. Then when he gave me the key he made a generalized broad gesture saying the truck was "over there." I was really confused and walked around the parking lot in the cold rain looking for the truck until I had to go back in and ask for help. This was my first time using U-Haul and I'm sure it will be easier the next time, but I would have appreciated a little more courtesy and guidance from the employee.

The employee who checked me out went out of his way to make sure I got the vehicle type I reserved and clean it after discovering it was messy from the previous renter. Smooth process and friendly!

Return process is out of the ordinary. Customer should be able to check out at time of drop off, and not have to leave concerned about issues with the rental. Dropping off a rental and waiting to see if you will be billed for anything is the not the best experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about the personnel at this location and at the location in Dallas. However, UHaul's telephone system is awful. I tried twice to order a hitch to be installed and was assured the second time that everything was set. When I showed up in Nashville at the designated time for the hitch installation, the employee said there was no record of my order-even though I had a conformation number. This screw up caused me to have to spend an extra day trying to get this taken care of. Its really bad ghat you can't speak with a local employee on the phone.

The truck we rented was in extreme poor condition. The passenger side mirror was not stable, it continuously moved making it impossible to see oncoming traffic on the Interstate highway. I was very fortunate that an accident did not occur!!!! The door driver door handle knob fell off. The gasoline, I was told had 3/4 tank of gas and it was expected to refill to that point and that one of the workers would go over the with me when I got the keys. That did not happen and it only had 5/8 of a tank. I did put 3/4 tank of gas in it when I returned the truck!! A light was showing in dashboard as if I was towing a trailer, I was not. That was concerning. I spoke with one of the attendants when I returned the truck. I was told i needed to report to the manager the next day.

Scheduled pickup at 10:30 a.m. Had completed most of pre checkin on internet. Service representative was in garage bay talking with someone fixing a car. He came to the office and checked me out in 10 minutes. Piece of cake. Highly recommend.

The booking process through the website is garbage. The rate is per day, but the duration defaults to 6 hours. When I informed the desk agent that I needed it for the full day, I was told to, “find another place to rent a truck.” After which i was informed that the truck I reserved was not available, but a smaller truck was. The truck got less than 5 mpg. Upon returning the truck I was told that the rate was $39.95/day even though the piece of paper I was holding in my hand said $29.95/day. Get your shit together. This stuff isn’t that hard.

I was asked to return the uhaul to a different location than I requested on reservation. I arrived there 42 minutes past the time I rented it out. I was charged an extra day!!!!!! So I fuel the truck myself AND take to another location and I was penalized??????? Extremely poor service since there was no one there to rent it! I may challenge this on my credit card because I feel it is not right.

The customer service was atrocious. I asked for help checking into my reservation. The customer service rep (who never provided his name) laughed at me and wouldn’t help as I had “started my reservation online”. The entire experience was not even below average but was embarrassingly bad. I will not EVER be using U-Haul or this location ever again for any services.

I had a great experience at this location. I had previously went to another location and they were terrible. They had moved my appointment 3 times and then realized they didn’t have the correct part. This has caused me to have to push my moving date by a day. It was very important that I was to leave the original day planned but the other location had made it so I could not do that. They also tried to push back my appointment again because they did not receive the part when they told me they did. I would never recommend that anyone go to that location. It was not until we reached out to the higher ups that something was done.
