Just dropped the truck off and put the key in the drop box. No real comment
No COVID19 related measures in place. No employees wore masks. Truck was dirty. Found water bottles from previous customer in cab area of truck.

The place we picked up was clean and the people were helpful the woman from the call center was very helpful. However , the location we were supposed to pick it up was closed , even though I confirmed it the night before. The location and the other two we went to in peppers ferry blvd were filthy and the one person we spoke to there said he had nothing to rent , even thought there were several trailers there When I spoke to the person at the call center she found one for us, but it was 45 minutes each way. We were supposed to head back to NY that day, but we ended up having to stay the night because of the delays. Over all the experience was awful
We were told at the pick up location that the insurance would be $16. The agent had a hard time with the computer throughout. He said the computer would not accept $16 but it would accept $20. In order to expedite the process, we agreed. Perhaps some training would help for the people on site.
The folks at the location were very understanding and kind to me when I returned the U-Haul. Great experience.
I do not have any improvement suggestions. I was throughly pleased with the entirety of the process.

Get your web information more up,to,date so your dealers know what is going on. I had already paid and performed pre checkout before I got there. But they couldn't figure that out. The whole process was extremely slow and they didn't have the the correct ball for my hitch, so I had to drive to another town to find one. I missed a funeral dinner because of it.
The employee was very helpful and assisted in detaching the Trailer from my truck.
It took the man 1hr and a 1/2 to get the paper work done. It put me way behind on my move. Very poor customer service
Make sure the back in cleaned
The guy handling the reservation (Leon?) was not very competent on the computer. He took 45 minutes to prepare the paperwork, and then the mileage was wrong (meaning that the mileage was entered wrong for the customer who had the truck before me, too), necessitating cancelling the contract and doing a new one. My credit card was temporarily charged twice.

Contact customer if truck isn't going to be available at designated pickup time and location. Be apologetic when referring customer to a different facility for pickup.
Very pleasant experience
I requested and got confirmed for Christiansburg, VA. Which is 10 minutes from where I needed and instead got Narrows, VA which was 45 minutes from where I needed it. Also when picking it up, We discussed the due date in lisbon, MD and the representative told me Tuesday and in fact I had until Monday to drop it off.
Nothing to do with the place other than when I reserved a truck it was a mile away. Then get an email and was to go to a location 15 miles away. Then the day I was to pick up the truck it was moved again and this time it was an hour away. I had to drive over 50 miles to get the truck and then back. So to begin with I had more time added to my truck. Then when I get there I was told the truck just showed up and had come from Connecticut and was a local truck but obviously they used it more than that. The A/C did not work, so to me this truck was not checked out. Good thing it was cloudy and raining because no matter what I tried, the A/C would not blow. Frustrating when I put in for a truck local to pick up and then keep getting moved around and end up further away the day I was going to pick it up. What was the purpose of being able to go online and reserve a truck at a specific location when it keeps getting moved around and then I have to drive further away to get a truck no one even made sure everything worked in it.
I was charged 1.00 per mile. I was quoted .67 per mile. That is a hell of a difference. When I tried to email Uhaul with the address in the receipt email it kept coming back to me. This was awful. I hope the guys at the store enjoyed getting together with Uhaul and raping my bank account. I will never use Uhaul again.

I really enjoyed my experience dealing with the gentlemen at the Light & Sons location. I asked the staff if someone would help me back in the trailer, a very kind gentleman walked out to my vehicle with me. He was able to back the trailer in with ease while my teenage son laughed at me. Turned out he was the owner, which really impressed me.
No problems. Equipment was there on time as promises. Equipment was in very good condition. Sales people, both while picking up and dropping off equipment were very knowledgeable and helpful with the entire rental process.
