Manny was fabulous gracious well informed and he gave complete precise and very helpful information. I spoke with two other people who I felt gave incomplete or conflicting information and did not answer questions fully . All were very courteous thank you.

While the personnel was courteous, the process was slow and very inefficient. To make it worse, the truck only had a quarter of a tank which caused me to waste one hour to get gas. (It was a Saturday morning in S Florida, it is season, the traffic is bad, and the lines for gas are long!) Before that, I waited 20 minutes for personnel to pull the blankets I had previously requested. Also, please note that there is no such thing as express check-in with UHaul given my experience with this rental. When I was making the reservation online, I was asked to provide credit card and payment to complete the order, choose my return location, upload my drivers license and confirm my appointment the day before. And guess what? I was entertained all over again at pick up time with the same requirements which I needed to produce in order to get the rental...guess how long that took...on top of getting gas and waiting for blankets. I hope you get my point. It seems that you spend more time on marketing and looking for ways to squeeze more charges out of a rental than you do on process...I reiterate, there is no express check-in and you will not fool me again!
after hours return process horrible! app login didn't work, on line log in didn't work. phone customer service didn't know how to help me. spent way too much time on the phone. finally someone in truck dept walked me through the process.
the way the trucks are measured. a fifteen foot truck, actually means the whole length of the truck, not the length of the actual cube.
Will never use U-Haul again. Rented a truck for 24 hours drove 16 miles to pick furniture that was being donated to me and my kids (single mom) once there discovered the "moving truck" didn't have a ramp for a dolly to get furniture into the truck. When I called about it the manager that responded put me down for not noticing before that it didn't have the ramp. I didn't even know where the ramp was located. I had never moved myself before. Now common since if you rent a moving truck for 24 hours there's a good guess you need it more then 5 hours since there are options to rent ranging from 4 and up. So not only do we still have no furniture but I wasted $66. I get I still should pay for rental but wasn't even offered use of a truck that had ramp for remanded of rental time.

Let people know that the dolly and blankets are not complimentary. We were charged for breaking a tag on the dolly by mistake and didn't even use it. We weren't even shown the truck, so let's say not very happy about the results of only using it for 30 something miles. Will not use again.
Clean the windshield. And the truck was not in great working conditions. Trouble shifting even though it was an automatic. Employee that helped me in the morning was fine. She helped me with everything I needed to do. But the gentleman who made me check in through the app cause I was 10 minutes late was not so friendly.
All the employees at the Hide Away Storage were so very nice. The pick up and return were the easiest I have ever dealt with.

It was really convenient that I could pick up the truck after hours by using their app ! By doing that though I wasn't able to ask them in person questions like â€œ where is the Dolly and pads that I asked for â€œ and â€œ how in the world do you get closer to the steering wheelâ€œ lol. I'm pretty tacky but I couldn't figure that out. Still, very easy truck to drive, I would rent there again.
I got charged for using a dolly I didn't use due to it being in the way of loading the truck and the week thing they use broke unsatisfied with that. The dolly and blankets should not be in the truck takes up space.
I called UHaul Customer Service and was told something different than what was told to me by Ms Ginger at the Hideaway Storage pick up location. If you looked through my record, I had booked a separate reservation for the Utility Dolly and the Furniture Dolly for one day, i.e., May 15th when I indeed need the dolly because I didn't need it on the 1st day as the movers that loaded the truck for me brought their own equipment. I knew that I would need the equipment the 2nd day so I made the reservation. I stopped by at the Hideaway Storage on Monday, May 14th to walk through the whole process of how to pick up the truck. When Ginger told me that I could do the 24/7 check in and I didn't need to pick up the truck during the storage center hours, I was very pleased that I could simply use my phone if I download the app and sign into my account. I then double checked with her about the equipment rental and explained that I would need to use it for one day and not 2 days and when she told me that the $7 charge is for the whole rental period, I took her words for it as she represents UHaul, regardless of whether it is Hideaway Storage. She was very helpful and knowledgeable so I trusted what she advised me was all good. When I got home, I called UHaul again to change from "Pick up at store" to "24/7", I was super excited to use this service. We arrived at the Pick up location at 6:20 am and I logged into the UHaul app on my phone and signed into my account and I could not obtain any verification code. After several attempts, I called your UHaul Customer Service and the lady who verified who I was, gave me the verification code. I opened it and obtained the truck keys and we drove away to help our daughter moved out of her apartment. It has been a very stressful day. If not for your UHaul Customer Service who helped me by giving me a verification code, we would have been late in the moving and the 2 guys whom I hired at the apartment would have been delayed and I would have been charged more money. While we were driving to our daughter's apartment, we received yet another call from your UHaul Customer Service asking us about picking up the truck. My husband explained to whoever called what happened and we also asked what we should do when we return the truck. Since we had so much trouble with the 24/7 and even your UHaul Customer Service who tried to help and walk through the app with me, and we realized that no matter what, it just wouldn't let me pick up the truck on my phone. This service would have been great, if it had worked! I asked Hideaway Storage for the refund of the one day dolly service and they have refused to entertain this request. This is getting ridiculous because we are talking about a small refund and it is taking way too much of my time. I was expecting an answer about the 24/7 pick up as I also complained about this too. Have a truck available for the customer who made a reservation. Mine was not available and totally screwed up my day
The truck was clean and the customer service was good but the trucks A/C was not working. I was not aware until I was already there to pick up the truck. An advanced notice, another option or a discount would have been appreciated.
No be so picky on 93,000 mile vehicles with scratches and dings everywhere...already.
speed up check in and check out process difficult to know how much gas to put in since tank was only 1/2 full. Only when tank is full can you accurately refill the exact amount used!!!
