Some dirt in cargo space

I called into Customer Service several times regarding this uHaul experience. I had to put 7 quarts of oil into this vehicle--it was almost bone dry! My major concern is that I, the CUSTOMER, had to maintain the uHaul vehicle. After spending over $500 just to rent this uHaul truck, I find it completely absurd that I then had to check, and then REPLACE, the oil in this truck. Is this not the responsibility of the uHaul location?! Is it too much to ask from uHaul for their locations to make at least a cursory examination of these vehicles?! Overall, this was a terrible, terrible experience with uHaul and I am unsure if I will ever use this company again!

Reserved UHaul for 9:30 am pickup. No one showed up at the store until after 10:30, and that's only because I called the owner from the parking lot where we had been sitting for 45 min. It was 100 degrees and we would have liked to load as early as possible but due to the delay with UHaul, we weren't able to get started till after noon and the full heat of the day. Not the proper way to run a business.

Was charged a fuel charge when I put more gas in then the 5/8 I was told to. Tried to contact Steve the manager over yellville/mountain home AR area and have not heard from him.

Apparently trailer to transport car was never reserved and one wasn't available, which seemed to be MY problem rather than theirs. I had to spend a lot of time on the phone with UHaul to get it done and then had to drive 25miles in the opposite direction than I needed to go on moving day to get it ... as if moving wasn't stressful enough.

When I picked up the truck, I specifically told the woman working there, Shannon, that I wanted to pay cash when I reached my destination in Chicago. She was having a lot of trouble with my reservation, which I had already set up thru 1800gouhaul. She had to redo it about 3 times in her computer. And also had to call u haul. I reminded her I wanted to pay cash when I dropped the truck off and not to be charged on my debit card. Well amongst all of the confusion, she somehow charged my debit card. She gave me false information about being able to pay cash when I dropped off the truck, and needless to say caused me some overdraft fees on my checking account. And of course when i called uhaul about this matter, thats all i was told was sorry, she gave you the wrong information. No help WHAT SO EVER.......
