I had to pick up blankets at a separate location so it was on a separate reservation than the truck. They were unable to check in the blankets from the second location. I called U-Haul and the lady at the location called her area manager to take care of it. I could not wait around for this to be resolved as I had to leave to complete my travel schedule. As of 10pm on Jan 14, 2020 the blankets on the second reservation still have not been checked back in. Overall this location was clean and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location and use them again.

I did express check in and upon arrival they had no information other than my name. No one helped me hookup or check my connections. Flying solo on that one. Had there not been readable instructions on the trailer tongue I would have been in a pickle. I asked for insurance online, but since I had to hook up by myself I sent my wife back inside with the trailer number and to pay. She didn’t know about the insurance so she declined. After hook up was completed I went back in to add the insurance and was informed it was too late because “she” declined. After trying to explain I received some attitude. I then made the statement that if something happened to the trailer and I couldn’t get the insurance I would hold her responsible. She said “naw”. I gave up and left. Then when I returned the trailer and my receipt was only available by email there was an $11.00 charge for unloading an auto or something or the other. Never saw that before or been charged for it before.

This location is a convenience store, and there was only one clerk, and he had to stop and complete store transactions before he could complete my check-in. I was left standing while he waited on customers who had arrived after me.

The employees at this location were truly horrible people. I called them before I came to ask if they new how to remove my car from the tow dolly and they told me yes. When I arrived and gave them they keys I had to remind them that I needed help to remove my car and that I was told they could help me (the Uhaul Woodlake employees told me the drop off location would be able to remove my care from the two dolly). When we went outside both the employees (one man, one woman) looked at the Uhaul and my care and said we don’t know how to remove it, turned around and went back in the store leaving my 63 yr old mother and I to figure it out for ourselves even after they told us they could help. I watched a quick video on Youtube and figured out how to unattach my care from the tow dolly. It was very simple and straightforward and I was able to remove the straps from my tires and the chain on the driver side. When I tried to remove the chain from the passenger side I noticed right away the chain had no give like the other one, it was wrapped and hooked under my car improperly. I tried to get the chain off for about an hour, asked two gentlemen for help. The two gentlemen tried to remove it but they had not luck either. My mom and I were begging to get tired and dehydrated so we went back in the store to seek help and water. The two employees did not offer us any more assistance (other than two tools that could not be used). They also did not even offer us water! They made us pay for it! My mom and I went back outside to try again. I eventually called the number located on the tow dolly once I realized the chain was going no where. The lady on the phone said she would call someone to help. Help arrived over an hour later. The man who came was quick but it took so long for him to get their. In total we spent 3 hours trying to return the Uhaul (from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm). This serious of events all started with the employee at my pick up location improperly chaining my car to the tow dolly. I had to reschedule my time for my internet services to be set up because of this ordeal. I hate writing negative reviews but this was just unacceptable in every single way and I followed all protocols, paid good money, and Uhaul was ultimately at fault. I have always used Uhaul for my moves but this may be the end of my patronage with them.

When the pick up location is changed the Uhaul website should be updated to reflect the new location. Since the web site was not updated I was prevented from performing the electronic check in.

Make it easier for folks to rent equipment online. When only to find out when you go to pickup you need a smartphone to complete the rental THIS SHOULD BEEN DONE ONLINE DURING CONFIRMATION OF ORDER. Not everyone uses this type of technology!!!!!!!!

Business tried to charge me nearly double what uhaul.com confirmed. Had to call customer service to get order correct. Truck had small crack in mom's attic that was not noted and it was a cloudy day and did not see hole that had been repaired but patch did not hold. Rained that night and luckily we had expensive furniture on the other side of truck. Went to mop out the area and got lots of grey, smelly animal hair on our mop that we did not notice when picking up truck. Check-in was good and fast no complaints when returning truck.

Man was rude and argued with me. I was told at pick up point to just pile the blankets in a neat pile and not to fold them. This man argued about it and I told him this is what I was instructed to do.

I was misled about the return gas procedure when the rental truck is picked up on empty, truck acted like it wanted to quit running, low pressure light stayed on, could barely understand the sales associate, & service was horrible. I would never rent from this location.

The two gentlemen at the store were absolutely awful. Extremely rude. Did not know how to use the computer. Equipment/contract was NOT ready when I arrived even though I completed the Express check in. When we dropped off the equipment, the guys there were again extremely rude. Would not recommend this location to anyone and will never use this location again.

Don't believe the hype!!! The prices on the trucks and signs are for in town moving plus they charge tax and fees and 99 cents a mile !!! Going to pensky or another next time. Cost me nearly 300 bucks to move 100 miles with u- haul

The lady that assisted me was great! She got me in and out in exactly 11 minutes not to mention that within that time she had to assist 2 other customers that walked in. The time would have been @7-8 minutes if no one had came in. I would hghly recomment this location to anyone. Great service and Great timing. Prior to coming here on the same date I went to the location called Rabbit Hole located in Cason off of Hwy 11 (4510 Hwy 11, Daingerfield Tx 75638) and had a horrible experience. The lady there held me up for @ 1 1/2 hours doing the paperwork and then when I went outside to load up the transport it would not go up properly so I did a cancellation. The lady sent my payment thru without my authorization and she was only suppose to place it on hold until I returned the transport then charge it, so she did a cancellation and I have yet to receive the refund back on my card. She told me that its going to take an hour no matter what location I go to, but as you can see by my comment it only took 11 minutes. Please No One go to the Rabbit Hole for any U-haul products.

Was the worst experience I have ever had. They did not understand anything I said. Didn’t know what an appliance dolly was. Tires where flat on trailer. They didn’t have any idea how to use the computer. I tried helping them and they got rude with me. Didn’t help hook up to trailer.

1. did not select the location - it was assigned by UHaul 2. called location prior to drop off, to confirm details 3. was returning ONE DAY EARLY 4. NO ONE, repeat, NO ONE at location spoke English upon arrival 5. clerk had to call some one on phone, have several long conversations in a foreign language, and then presented me a receipt -- having already billed my credit card for an ADDITIONAL DAY 6. asked clerk to unhook trailer - they refused 7. asked where to park trailer - no answer was provided 8. backed trailer into a location, unhooked it, clerk watched the entire move, and THEN came out and told me to park it on the other side of the lot 40+ years of renting UHaul, in 8 states -- never had an experience such as this.
