24/7 check in and check out is an great option... if it worked. Had to wait until someone was available to help. Followed step by step. Confusion over using App or Website was an issue. I’m sure with time it will become a smoother process. Overall a good experience. 8 out of 10.

Arrive at specified drop off location early. Already has issues at pick up. Drop trailer and after drop I am told to take somewhere else in different city. After I show that I was directed to this location the person working there informs me to just leave it they will run up the charges on my credit card. When leaving I receive text from U-Haul stating to take to another location. Last time I ever deal with U-Haul. Worst service imaginable and made out as if I was one who made mistakes. No one ever contacted me in regards to changes and then threaten to run up my bill when I return early? Still waiting on customer service to make pick up right. Have no hopes of this being resolved as no one appears to be concerned or working on it. Serious issues with reservations, communication, and just doing their job in general. Why should I be responsible for extra driving and expenses incurred with pick up and then threatened with additional cost for returning to destination you chose?

For your larger trucks, it would be nice if there were a "back-up camera" installed. The side mirrors are nice, but it would be very easy to back over something that is directly behind the truck.

Our problems came from texts indicating to drop off at North Charleston location. We had asked ahead to drop off in Mt Pleasant, being told there were 4 locations there and no problem. First off, North Charleston was further away and closed on Sunday, the day we wanted to drop off. It was difficult getting anyone on the phone to adjust this. Plus, had to visit the Mt Pleasant location more than once to be sure this change was in your system! It all worked out, but cost us extra hours, time, and gas to feel confident we would be in the clear. Recommend drop off location being handled and confirmed during pick up, easier communication, not totally relying on texts and emails. Feel free to credit our credit card, and/or contact us if you feel its warranted, Thanks!

The manager La'mon Williams was very rude not only to the customer and also to his workers as well. He was complaining in front of customers; saying that he did not get pay on his lunchtime to serve the customers. I thought the manager was getting pay to make the thing run smoothly no matter what it takes. He said he doesn't have to serve the customer if he doesn't want to. La'mon Williams was so impolite and unprofessional. He was not acting manager like. I hope that help.

Only one person working so there was a wait of about 15 minutes to get help when picking up rental trailer.

Arrived to this location at 8:50AM, 10 minutes before my pickup time. Several other people were already in line being serviced, yet they refused to even talk to me until right at 9:00AM. When my truck was finally ready they made me walk all of the way to the back, about 100 yards away, to find the truck myself. The back of the truck was incredibly dirty. Instead of sweeping the truck out for me all they did was hand me a broom. Will completely avoid this location in the future.

Got a truck that was filled with bottles of discarded chewing tobacco. Clean the unit out, returned clean and was charged a $25 cleaning fee for cleaning the unit for Uhaul. This will be posted on google reviews.
