Pick up was very smooth. Truck was ready and clean. The man checking very helpful taking time to answer all my questions.James C.
Horrible experience. Air-conditioning quit, truck leaked on my furniture, Truck was very old, there were several newer similar units on the lot. Cargo area light didn't work. Shook like hell driving down the road I honestly do not feel the truck is roadworthy. I'm a fire fighter I drive 80,000 pound vehicles every three days.Tomislav L.
We could not get some of the supplies we originally ordered. While I understand supply issues can happen, the customer should not be so inconvenienced at the last minute. We picked up the truck but then had to scramble to get pads and dollys!ALBERTANTHONY V.
Unfriendly staff. Unclean interior of truck upon pickup. The self-service app was slow and didn't seem to recognize my location. Really gone downhill from past years' experience. As I was leaving, the office personnel passed me on a golf cart. No recognition, no wave. Really a bad experience and won't do it again. I tried to get in touch with the owner of the uhall in mount pleasant sc . I have rented from there for over 15 years and this past rental experience , I will never go back. I am 58 years old and I have never reported on anything or anyone until this past rental experience. I had a day rental and I was late am hour for my reservation. When I went to the office the front door was locked ? No note etc o knocked on the door no response. I then drove around the premises looking for someone that works here. I did not see anyone and I drove back to the office and the door was still locked . I went to the back of the building as well . Reason why I was late is o could not find my phone . I was unable to call, I got back in my and drove around the premises again . When I returned to the office I saw someone sitting in a rental truck , I went up to him and stated I wad there to pick my rental that I placed via computer and even checked in as well . He stated to me if I could give him some time . Without realizing that I had a time period of 4 hours . I did not mind waiting on him because I needed to catch up with my work. Anyway , after 1 hour the guy which apparently the manager walks to the office , I asked him if he was ready to check me in. He stated to me that he needed more time so I assumed he walk outside and tell me he was ready , he never did then other people walked in the office and he started serving them and put me behind two rentals . I stayed to him that I have waiting on him for two hours and I was here before these two rentals . Frustrated and becoming agitated , he checks me in and did not use my early check In that I did the night before and did a check in from scratch . As I had waited on him to be available to check me in which was almost 2 hours , he stated to me (which was around 12;30 that I had to return the van by two o'clock because someone made a two o'clock reservation . I had very very limited time and not even near the complete hour hours , I had to go to Summerville which was 20 miles on the highway with heavy traffic. I reflected on this check in and I became angry because he did not check me in when I arrived . I was panicking because I did think that I could do what I needed to do in 1:2 hours . . This uhall representative did not check the van for mileage , gas etc. I found that unusual . With really rushing I made it back to his office by 2:00, there was a lady sitting in her car and she dyed to me that this guy was rude to her and she just wanted quotes for a move to Orgem, she told me that he could do this by lookin up the zip codes , she wad extremely upset by his rudeness and no help . I told her about my experience as well . I met the guy outside yo return my key . He did not check the car or the gas, I stated to him as I was giving him the key to never pull what he pulled on me in the future . He looked at me and stated he did nothing wrong . I told jim that I waited for almost 2 hours on the premises waiting for him . He stated that I was not there that long and I staMARGARET J.

I am in the middle of a dispute with this dealer through corporate office for over charging me and for being closed during business hours, not returning my phone calls and basically just giving me really bad customer service. Why would you send me a review while all of this is going on?? The dispute is still in progress for being scammed on my receipt. We ordered truck 24/7, we arrived at 8am with NO access to a truck. No email from uhaul, called EVERY phone number supplied by uhaul emails with computer only for bill pay or roadside assistance.. office to open at 9:30. We waited with 4 others & attendant arrived at 9:40. He took approximately 15 minutes to get the office open to assist all of us waiting. Now mind you I am paying a moving company while I wait on him & uhaul DID NOT PROVIDE ME EMAIL, TEXT or PHONE CALL with CODE!!!!!!!!!!! To pick up the truck. I drove 2 hours from my home to this haul location & had to wait almost another 2 hrs to get the truck. This is not my first 24/7 order, not sure i will use again & will definitely not recommend. We had a terrible experience with this location. Vehicle was in poor condition (no wiper fluid, engine hesitation, unsafe braking) , covered in cigarette ash and was not cleaned/sanitized given the current pandemic. Service manager was rude and not available for help at our requested reservation pick-up time (office was closed/locked). It took over an hour to get our keys as they were not in the lockbox for contactless pickup. Rent elsewhere.Lynch T.
Even though I completed this truck rental through the app and went into the main office to literally just pick up a key for 30 seconds w/no one else in there, I was asked to wear a mask immediately upon entering. Perhaps not mandate mask wearing in these instances?Badi B.
