Lady in office was not very attentive- she looked up from the envelopes she was putting stamps on a few moments after I came in, and after I told her I was there to return, she calmly turned back to stamping two more envelopes before rolling her chair over to the counter to help me.....did not move with any sense of urgency

When we picked up the truck we were told that it would be full of gas. When we got in it was at just over 3/4 of the tank. We went 80 miles in it and it took 15 gallons to fill. So the “fuel efficient truck got 5mpg. I am extremely disappointed that we had to pay extra to return it at full.

Had no furniture blankets so I used what I had at home, wood furniture ended up scratched and gouged. Unacceptable.

I reserved the trailer along with 10 moving pads well in advance. When I picked up the trailer at the designated time I was told they didn’t have any moving pads. No solution to the problem was offered whatsoever. Why reserve something? It really put me in a pickle. How was I to prevent damages to furniture without the pads that were RESERVED. I was very disappointed and had to come up with a solution of my own.

My reservation was made online and confirmed for Gilroys hardware but was changed to the Hitchen Post across town with no notice which was an issue. I was originally given the wrong truck with a quarter tank of gas but my paperwork had 3/4 on it which caused another delay

I used a 26’ truck for a few hours on a Wednesday for an event in a town 2 hours from my home. I also needed the same size truck on that Sunday to load and drive back to my home town (2 hours away). But the place I picked up from on Wednesday wasn’t open on sundays. There was anothe uhaul dealer a few miles down the road that was open on sundays but they would not let me drop it off there with out charging me more money. So they had me pick it up Saturday (a day early) and didn’t charge me. However when I unloaded on Monday and drove the truck back to the dealer by my house. They charged me an extra day because they said it was due back by 9am. (Which was never explained to me) I told them how I was using it. Will try another company next time.

The woman behind the counter was rude and was not very accommodating. I wanted to see the damage log to ensure that everything was logged like agreed In our contract and she was not happy nor accommodating or willing to do so.

When I returned the truck it was on a Sunday, so I called Monday morning. The woman who answers the phone was lacking in phone skills, could really use some review in courtesy and be a bit more polite and professional. It will be two weeks on Monday May 14th and NO REFUNDED DEPOSIT. I dread calling because your phone system at 1-800-go-uhaul is a long process with waiting being a guarantee. Can someone check on this, please??

The team at The Hitchen Post, 1012 Packard Road, Mt. Pleasant Michigan were courteous, efficient, kind, helpful and quick. In addition to the the time saved by using the Express On-Line Check In, the team was quick to get us off to our moving fun within about 10 minutes of us arriving at the Hitchen Post. Great job!

Although everything was excellent, one issue should be mentioned. I reserved a 10’ truck, however, only a 15’ truck was available. No change in charges, but it was too much truck, to include increased fuel usage.
