The online check in process had some difficulty. The store owner said the truck was ready, but online it said the vehicle had not been reserved. An hour later, the problem was fixed online.

Truck was not safe to drive, very old and dangerous because the steering wheel was loose making it very dificult to drive. Terrible experience and will definetively consider other truck renting companies next time. thanks, Hernani

The 9' van we rented had less than 1000 miles on it - it was very nice, clean. Nicest moving vehicle I've ever rented. We couldn't find the button to move the side mirrors, and there was no owners manual, which would have been helpful. We were very happy with the whole experience.

Area for parking after hours could be easier to access. Parked cars made reversing into parking area a difficult task for the end of the moving experience.

The staff were not really helpful. couldnt even look up to customer and explain things... Requested a truck they only had vans. The floor was dusty when I received it thinking I guess this is normal for U-haul. l returned the van before the set time and they were too busy to give me a final statement and receive the van. Later they charged me additional 10.73. Called the U-haul 1800 number to ask for a receipt of payment they weren't able to understand what a receipt is. I tired words ''final statement'' and ''bill'' they still had no idea what am i asking for. They finally refunded 10.00 after a week then i had to call to ask for the statement and the 0.73... still have to worry about this rental 2 weeks after a simple 4 hours van rental!

The store owner did not arrive at the store until 8:30, my pickup was at 8. I rented online and did the express check in and he couldn't locate it so we had to input all of my information again. He told me he didn't have a uhaul dolly and tried to upcharge me to the more expensive dolly. After I contested this he went outside and "found one." He gave me a 15' truck when I paid for and requested a 17'. I measured from the front of the top of the cab to the back it was 15'. He never even told me it was a 15' I literally had to measure it because it didn't look right. Do not use this location.

Please when you make an online reservation and the confirmation gives a location, adhere to "that" location. I was given one location only to go there to find out that they didn't have my reservation. I had to be inconvenienced and pick up from the Chapel Hill location.

Make sure the employee is clear when speaking with a deaf customer... The employee wasn't really speaking face-to-face to me especially when I notified him that I was deaf.

I had a horrible experience! When I made my reservation a few days before pick up for a 15ft truck. When I arrived the guy was on the phone and looked distracted. I waited for about 5 mins before I got serviced. Then when I finally got serviced the guy asked me what I rented. What? Don't you have my reservation? Anyway I remembered and I told him a 15ft truck for 2 days. He proceeded to tell me that they truck was not returned yet and he had a 20ft truck available. I took the 20ft but was not offered the same rate since I reserved a 15ft. Ok no worries. He then asked me again for how many days. I told him I only need it till Tuesday and I'll be able to return it back then. He proceeded to tell me he can reserve until Wednesday just in case and I agreed but asked if I returned it early that I won't be charged another day. He said yes. Well today I walk him and he's charging me the extra day for both truck rental and dolly. He proceeded to tell he didn't remember and he had a lot going on that day when we talked, well yeah no kidding! I was pissed because I would have returned it when he told me and if he would have just allowed me to rent it till Tuesday then we wouldn't have this problem! Horrible customer service!

This particular uhaul business was excellent but I was highly disappointed with the two others that I was suppose to be dealing with prior to finding a truck at this store. I have nothing to say badly but only positively with this uhaul facility. My MAJOR complaint is that I had the same experience last year with the original uhaul facility I had booked months ago for my trip. Last year and again this year I was not notified that they had no truck for me! I spoke with uhaul before pick up just because i didn't trust companies communicationa and I was supposedly guaranteed there was a truck at a different sight for me but again was not notified that there was no truck after being guaranteed there was one sitting on lot. I even gave them change in day or size of truck if that would help. Thank god I called because I didn't trust uhaul from my past experience. When I spoke to uhaul before pick up and it again was not there so finally after my frantic concerns they found one 14 miles away. I don't know how a business can run not notifying a client that there was no truck Remember this has happened both last year and this year for my move but last year I called as the facility was closing just 8 hours before I was suppose to pick it up. Thank goodness I called. Not exactly sure what they would have told me when I was standing at door upon opening in morning. I have to say my friends used other companies and had no complaints. I figured last year was just a misunderstanding by office employees of the original facility but was exact same situation this year. I stupidly rented from same site as last year but was moved by uhaul to a second facility which too never called to let me know they had no truck Uhaul used same excuse for all my phone calls that person using truck just extended there contract. Pretty coincidental that everyone using those truck both years needed them longer. Remember I booked this quite awhile in advance. Truck was fine and again the business I did finally get truck from was excellent. Went way out of his way because I really think he was embarrassed with this major lack of communication could happen both years. MJ
